AE Strigid High-Waisted Stovepipe Jean

Bought two weeks ago - first time AE buyer and I’m in love with these pants! (I’m 75 years old!!!)

Really comfortable!! They are long enough for me for intense I’m 5’8 and still has a lil length on the bottom!

I am in love with these jeans. They fit really well. I am 5'10 and typically buy X Long from AE but had to get the Longs because of what was in stock, and I think this was for the best. It looks like these run a little bit longer than typical AE jeans. I wish these hit a little higher on my waist (they come to an inch below my belly button), but they look so good that it's hard to care. They fit well in top while having the looser, dess pants-esque fit I want on the bottom, no sagging around the butt like with other cuts. Definitely my new favorite cut from AE.

I bought these jeans in person a few days ago and went back to the website to get another color because i liked them so much. they are honestly the best fitting jeans as a person who is on the more petite size and is looking for jeans that don’t go up to their ribcage, i honestly wish they were a bit lower but that’s my only complaint.

I bought these for my girlfriend. She says they fit very nicely, are very easy to style, and are very comfortable.

They fit me perfect!! I am super short but curvy and these jeans fit me snug, hide my extra tummy fat, sit perfect at the wasit, and give my butt defintion. I highly recommend and will be getting another pair :)

I usually purchase my AE jeans in short length. With these, I exchanged for regular because they felt like an awkward length. These jeans are cute! Thicker jean, not stretchy.

If you're still interested in my saga, here goes my 3rd review for these pants lol. I ordered both colors in 12 x-long according to reviews that said size down and get longer, then returned and got 14 x-long, then returned and got 16 long. I'm keeping both colors in the 16 long. For some reason, AE doesn't offer x-longs above a size 14 (which I've asked them about and am waiting on a response) but I didn't notice a huge difference between x-long and long, and although the long is slightly shorter, it doesn't look too short when you sit down or anything, and I usually order longs anyway. I thought about trying the curvy cut but the ratings are crap, and these don't gap a lot, and I'm sick of running to the FedEx store for returns. I truly don't understand the sizing. A 16 is listed on the size chart as a 34 inch waist (which should be a 14) but on the actual pants tag it says 33 waist (which would be a 13, which is what I needed to start with because I'm between a traditional 12 and 14). So if you have any size vanity like me, who has never bought a 16, it's not a 36 inch waist. Get the comfy size-this cut is supposed to be a little loose anyway :).

I’m plus size (based on weight) and I’m usually a size 12 and even then sometimes it is a bit tight (depending on the brand). but for this pair of jeans, I would recommend sizing down. It fits well for the first use, but once it stretches out, it does not go back to normal even after washing. still super cute and comfy though. I’d say to order ur regular size if u want it low/mid rise and baggy.

Just got these today in a 12 x-long based on other reviews that said to size down and get longer than your usual. I have 12Ls and 14Ls in various American Eagle jeans (but right now all the 12s are a bit snug). These 12 x-longs mostly fit but they're unpleasant to sit down in at the waist at the moment. The length is perfect; the x-longs just barely hit the floor and I'm 5'11". I'm in the process of losing weight but since they're supposed to be slightly baggy and they may shrink, I'm going to exchange for 14 x-longs. I got 12L in the low-rise dreamy drape too and they're not as flattering, and if I liked those I would be exchanging them for a 14L. Hope this is helpful.

I bought these jeans a few weeks ago and love them! They are very comfortable and I love the cut. The only thing is that they do stretch out a bit so the waist is a little too big after I wear them once or twice. They always shrink in the wash but I feel like I have to wash them after every time I wear them so they fit me right. But I still love them and love the washed black and the wide leg.
