AE Floral Midi Slip Skirt

I have big hips and a tiny waist but this skirt fits my hips perfectly and I love the slit in the skirt and the material is so light and breathable perfect for this Texas heat. <3

I’ve never bought a skirt before, I’ve been trying to get into them recently, especially midi and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for, the floral pattern isn’t very bright which personal preference and the color is stunning ,I love and it fits perfectly, size small

For reference I am 5’ 6” 119 lbs with straight body type. I returned a small for medium because the small waist was too tight. Also I wanted to allow the skirt to sit lower and make the slit a bit lower on my leg too. I also have this skirt in the brown print which I honestly prefer both both good. I think washing instructions say dry flat but I washed inside out cold water and dried delicate briefly and hung. Was fine. Texas summer heat can be brutal. I’m a fit 69 year old wanting to look current, not show a lot of my pale legs and feel cool and comfortable. This skirt checks those boxes.

I went to the store to try this skirt on to see what size I would be. It fit great . A little Loose on my waist which I like. Perfect length to wear cowboy boots or white sand let’s in the summer! Might get another colour. Feels like spring!

I'm 5'1 and this fit so nice on me--- it was definitely mid calf, but above my ankles and not anywhere near the floor. the slit isn't so high that your booty's falling out, it adds to the skirt so nicely. ugh, so cute. there isn't much stretch though, so keep that in mind when choosing a size! :)

This is my #1 issue with AE. Usually, an XXL is perfectly fine for me but the cut of this skirt made it impossible to zip up over my hips. Big in the waist, way too small around my hips. If you have a curvy bottom half this may not work for you.

If you are a size 16 and up, this skirt will not work. I ordered a XXL and usually wear a size 18/20 jeans. The skirt has no stretch. #AEReviewSweepsEntry
