AE High-Waisted Utility Midi Skirt

I ordered this skirt for a vacation I'm going on soon, and it's perfect. The color is exactly as pictured and the material is so light weight and comfortable but not see-through. The curved hem and slits on the sides add a nice touch and make the skirt feel a little less conservative. I just wish the matching top was restocked so I could have it as a set! Still deciding if I want to keep the skirt by itself. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I bought this skirt and the matching top. While you'll still need the right color underwear, the top half of the skirt is double lined for a little extra coverage. Its cute and comfortable and I can't wait to wear it on vacation!

Pros: -Nice neutral. You can basically wear any color, dress it up with a nice blouse or keep it casual with a fitted tee. -Soft and flowy, not stiff, drapes nicely -Cute button up detail -Has deep pockets -Good length, and the side slits go up to your knee for easy leg movement Cons: -Waistband is just a tad small even though the back part has an elastic -The waistband itself is thin; it would be better and more flattering with a thicker band -Wrinkles easily—you have to iron or throw it in the dryer with a damp cloth or it looks sloppy #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I absolutely loved the look of this matching set but the colour is slightly darker than it appears in the photos so it was more of a khaki that wasn't flattering for my skin tone. I always have the problem of things being loose in the waist so I went with the smaller size which I wouldn't because it didn't have room for my thighs since it's quite a straight fit.
