no stretch, too small

I was so excited to get this skirt because it is so beautiful and feminine. however, i got a medium (my always typical size) and it was too small. the description says stretch but there is literally zero stretch. it fits around my waist but not at all on my hips/butt. i wear a size 6—sometimes 8 in non-stretchy pants—for reference. i do have a big butt, but still. all my other medium skirts i ordered fit. and now large has been out of stock for ages, so unfortunately i will have to miss out on this pretty skirt.
