AE Next Level High-Waisted Denim Skort

Super cute and comfy. I wasn't sure about the size because I feel like it bunches a little land makes it look too tight, but the waistband is loose so going up a size isn't an option or that would stick out.

This skirt is super cute and the shorts underneath are thin and comfy. However, I will be returning it because the hem curls outwards and upwards, which makes it look odd like a Barbie skirt or something. I don't know if it's 'cause I have a voluptuous behind that created that effect or that's just how the skirt is. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I really really love this skirt!! Everything about it is awesome, except that the hem on the bottom curls up. I will have to figure out a way around that since I love everything else about it! True to size. I am a size 6 in most brands, but I am sometimes a 4 in AE. My usual size 6 was perdect.

Its good fabric and the shorts underneath are streachy and soft but runs big im usally a size 2 but had to get a 0

So cute and comfy. Veryyy stretchy and also very short. I had to return and order a size 2 long after feeling like my butt cheeks were popping out even with the shorts underneath. For reference I am 5’7’’ and 130 lbs.

this skort is actually super cute! im so glad they didnt make it a regular skirt, it doesnt ride up & i dont need to worry about how everything holds. an issue i had was the first one i bought, the zipper broke as soon as i had taken it home (popped straight off while i hadnt even taken the tags off yet) but was able to exchange it. the second issue is that i find if you dont want the shorts to sit like undies, they peek through the small skirt slit. also, size down. reference i am 190lbs, 5’6, usually size 14 in denim but this i got a size 10, and could have managed going to an 8 if i wanted to be snatched.

This is the perfect jean skort! True to size with a little stretch. After a wash it may start rolling up exposing the seem as shown in the picture.

This skort is super cute, strechy, and comfy! I have wider hips and narrower waist so the skirt does gap a bit in the waist.

if you want this to fit more highwaisted (belly button) i would recommend aozing down! super cute and comfortable though!

I’m 5’5, 165 lbs pear shaped and usually a 10R but I purchased a 8R. The reviews are right about sizing down because it’s so stretchy. However… the regular length barely covers my bum. Going to exchange for a 8L once it’s back in stock.

So cute. Very oversized due to stretch material. I sized down two sizes and still need to size down and additional size.

This skirt is adorable and a staple. It can be dressed up or down and matches with anything. I typically wear a size 6 in denim, (or anywhere from a S-M in most bottoms) but I took everyone’s advice and sized down to a 4 long (I have an athletic, pear shape). It fit perfectly, but it could loosen up throughout the day, and I prefer tighter fits with my skirts. So I could have even sized down again to a 2 long if I wanted to. There is just so much stretch with this piece. By no means is it a bad thing, but it does alter sizing. It’s perfect if you pick the appropriate size for your preference of style and wear. For reference, I’m 5’ 1”, anywhere from 135-140lbs, with a shorter torso, hips/bottom are 42” and waist is 28”. I always do a short in jeans, but do a long for skirts as I hold most of my weight on my bottom half.

I am 5’8” and I ordered an 8 long and thankfully I ordered the long. I know its a mini skort but it’s mini! Also I will say in some places it’s sewn kinda terribly so I am not sure if it’s a piece thats going to last a while. Other than that it is really cute and I am excited to wear it for the summer!

Very comfy but the edges flip up because the fabric is so stretchy. I don’t think it was worth the price.

It's really cute and super stretchy. For all the curvy girls out there, this is not it. I had to size down 2 sizes (I am normally a 6 and I got a 2 in this). The waist was just way too big in the size 6 and 4. The waist is still big in the size 2 so I am getting it altered to fit, as the rest of the skirt fits elsewhere.

since its a stretchy material the bottom of the skirt rolls up in the back making it look extra short and just awkward

the skirt is pretty cute, but its awkwardly loose around my waist. if i were to size down, it would be too tight around my hips. the hem also rolls up unattractively. i ordered my normal size 0

im size 4 and i bought a size 2 beacause in aerie i usually size down but even the 2 fit me loose Will be returning for size 0 because it stretches a lot

This skort is incredibly cute, but quite possibly the shortest thing I’ve ever put on my body. The bottom of the skirt barely covered my full butt, and any movement showed everything. It’s nice that there are shorts underneath, but they might as well be underwear. If you’re okay with it being very short, I recommend sizing down one. I wish it was slightly longer, but unfortunately i had to return. Much too short for this mom of two.

kinda cheap looking, seams coming undone, edges at bottom of skort folding up. loved the idea of a denim skirt but this one isnt for me

After after one wash the hem has rolled up and it looks crazy. i was only able to wear these one time. I’ve tried ironing and pressing the hem, but then after a few minutes of wear the hem rolls up again and looks so cheap. I always have this problem with AE flares too and it ruins the look.

It’s going on 2 weeks and I’ve still not received this?!?!?

Cute and comfortable - soft, stretchy denim at a nice length. Unfortunately, with first wash, the bottom hem has curled up and even with steaming or ironing it still curls up. Ruins the nice, clean look and I haven’t worn it again.

like other reviews, the hem roles and there is no way around it. soooo unfortunste becayse this isvthe cutest skort ever 🥲

if you are literally (i mean LITERALLY) a box then these might fit but otherwise pls size down. im usually an 8-6 and i prob should have ordered a 4 or even a 2 lol. quality is great esp for this price, but the waist is so big i cant wear a top unless its way baggy bc the excess fabric in the waist area bunches up. it judt looks weird on.
