These shorts are adorable! I got them for the beach to hide my tummy & they do exactly that. When I wore them people asked if I lost weight. The way they’re cut is perfect. They cling at the top & then fall, without hugging my muffin top! Excellent! A tad short for me, but most girls are into that. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I loved the style of this...but it was a very small sizing. I bought a size twelve (my regular size), sometimes I can squeeze into their size ten jeans. However, I find that they’re shorts run small. This isn’t the first pair I’ve had problems with either. It’s sooo cute and I wanted so badly to love these. Def recommend sizing up. I held them up to a size ten (neither were stretchy) and they were the same size.

Not a fan...

I missed out on the other Pride shorts released earlier this year, but I was stoked when I saw these because Festival used to be my favorite style of AEO shorts! I bought my usual size 2 and they fit perfectly in the waist and the length is perfect. The embroidery on the sides is very well done and cute, the rips are perfectly placed and have just the right amount of distressing.
Immediately out of the package I hated the material. I know it's listed as "lightweight" denim but it is SOOOO thin. I have some AEO Mom Jeans that I thought were thin, but these feel even thinner than that. They feel cheap IMHO. I don't have a butt by any means... but somehow it hugs my butt as if I was wearing form fitting leggings haha.
I was excited these went on sale, but they're not even worth keeping. I miss the old style of Festival shorts.
