Emu Australia Mayberry Slipper

I was so excited for these & they were on sale so I ordered them. Uhm total disappointment...I could barely slide my feet into them and I have some pretty petite feet. I tried but the bands were sooo tight. The material you would think would be soft...it's rough & scratchy. You can see bits of glue all over as well. I tried to make it work but it's not happening they aren't comfortable at all. Definitely returning...don't waste your money.

Got these to treat myself because my other, much cheaper comfy slippers have taken a beating from my constant use during quarantine. The reviews looked great so they seemed promising. Unfortunately though these are cozy and seem well made, they're very uncomfortable and I don't think they're worth it. Maybe I spoiled myself with my soft Birks over the summer, but geez these are so uncomfortable. They run true to size length wise, so if you have narrow feet, get your usual size. I sized up since I have wider feet and they're still narrow and hurt my pinky toes. I expect/hope that will change with time/wear, but slippers are supposed to be comfy so I'm disappointed. The foot bed literally feels like hard plastic with the fur on top. It's hard and uncomfortable. I do like that you can wear them outdoors; I use my slippers as house shoes and my basement is where I do my laundry. It's old and easily gets dirty, so I like wearing things with hard soles down there. My floor boards in my apartment are also old and chip, so i try to wear slippers with hard bottoms as much as I can. Just saying some cushion wouldn't hurt. The design is nice for cool days that aren't freezing due to the open toe. Probably returning these or giving them away and going to treat myself with new pairs of my old slippers instead just because the comfort isn't there at all.
