Birkenstock Women's Yara Sandal

I was excited to see American Eagle Has Berkenstocks so I had to purchase a pair. I’m not sure if the size I ordered is actually too big or not.... I think they are supposed to have room around your foot and they didn’t have 1/2 sizes. Also I was surprised that the straps are not actually leather. Very cute sandals but they’re huge! I normally wear a 7 1/2, so I got a 38 (7) and they look like a size 8. Definitely order a whole size down!!!

These seemed very high quality buy they run very large. I am usually an 8.5 and ordered an 8. I probably should have gotten a 7 they were so big. Had to return.

I love birkenstocks. This is my third pair of birkenstocks but my first from AE. I picked size 7, my normal shoe size, and I normally get a 36 or 37 in birkenstock. I recieved a 38 (which according to birkenstock and AE is a 7). They are absolutely MASSIVE. In my excitement I threw them on right away and wore them out, now I wish I hadn't so I could exchange them. You can see how oversized they are and I have about 3/4 of an inch between my heel and the edge of the dip your foot is supposed to fit into. I have to have the ankles tights as far as they will go otherwise they flop off my feet. #aereviewsweepsentry
