Originally I ordered a size six (my usual size) but they came in huge on me but the 5 worked perfect so possibly think about ordering down a size. These sandals are the most comfortable thing I own I 12/10 recommend. I never want to take them off!

Got wrong sandals...

I ordered the gizeh sandals but got the miyari in black. Though of reaching out, but the miyari are so cute and comfortable so I decided to keep them. Birkenstock shoes never disappoints- trendy, simple and comfortable.

GIZEH SIZING DIFFERENT [Narrower/Shorter]

Birkenstock sizing on many other sites applies to a RANGE of sizes (e.g., "40" = 9-10; [I now see that] AE lists a single size). I own six pairs of Gizeh. The pair received from AE, though called the same size, is 1/2" narrower and 1/2" shorter than all of the other pairs I own. The shoe box is stickered, "Narrow Fit," whereas my other pairs' boxes read "Normal Fit." If you wear a half size, and have previously purchased Birkenstocks elsewhere, you may need a different size when ordering from AE.

The sole on my birkenstocks came apart after 3 months. Very sad day, I thought for sure they would last at least a year.

I ordered a size 5 and was sent a size 7......I will not order another pair as the cost of them is more than I want to spend to have to return them. Probably won't even be entered for the $500 as this is a negative response.
