Nice length and style but

These pants feel like they are a good weight, but yet somehow they show every fault. I’m between a 6 and an 8 and am in great shape but yet they still show things I didn’t know I had. The lunch is good though (I bought x long) and the style is cute otherwise.

ive been purchasing kickboot pants for work from here for the past 8 years. Recently, they have made changes to the fit once again! the pockets dont come with buttons on the rear pockets anymore, theyre stitched together now, I hate that. The length is still off (which it always has been). im 5’6 and purchased a short length. The waist size is all off. I’m usually a 13 in pants and the 12 was way too big in the waist with too much room in the back of my thigh. I couldve sized down to a 10 for a better fit. I wish they would bring back the same stretch material from 2018-2019.

I’ve always worn the old style for work and I loved them but these are not it. They’re super stretchy and the material isnt terrible but with a belt and having to wear a shirt tucked I prefer some structure. These are like wearing leggings. They run large and they run long so size down in waist and length. I’m typcially a 12 short, ordered a 10 short, and could probably wear an 8 short. Back pockets are also sewn shut for no reason

I absolutly love AE khaki pants for work! I love how soft they are. They got rid of my fav khaki boot cut pants, i would always get them in long. I bought these in 16 long and they are so long that im stepping on the pant. also these are flared alot more then it shows on the model. I will be returning these since they are $50

I bought these pants because they were described as having back pockets. However I received the item three times, after returning it twice, and received faux pockets. Why do you advertise real pockets when the pants don't have them???

I got these a couple months ago and they fit perfectly, decided to buy another pair and they changed the pants completely. I ordered a smaller size then last time and some how these are bigger; the pockets are sewn shut and their super high rise. Even if they redesigned these pants they should change the description.

be careful washing them for the first time. i washed these and a new pair AE Stretch Classic Skinny Pant. i washed them on cold with two color catchers and they came out solid black. i cant believe this is the quality of dye you get for $50 pants.

why cant american eagle ever be consistent? there sizing is different with every pair of pants I purchase now. I dont live close to an AE to go try them on in stores. highly considering being done with AE.

I bought three pair of these pants on 2/4/25 and they have all 3 already ripped at the corners of the back pockets and expose skin. The fit was great and I loved how comfortable these were, but sadly didn't last. My husband has had several newer pairs of jeans rip on him as well. Very disappointed in the quality of AE lately and I’ve worn AE for the last decade

These are terrible compared to the old ones that were low rise next level stretch kick boot work pants. They were baggy around my thighs when I fist put them on so i washed them. The looseness was better but now they’re too short for me to wear!! I can’t believe how much the length shrunk! I’m so mad that these cost so much and now I can’t return them. The other problem is that this material collects every hair and fuzzy within a 10 mile radius! If you loved the old version then you won’t like these! Now I have to find a new brand of pants to wear to work.

Not as pictured. Bring back the same quality from 10 yrs ago. The fabric is unflattering. Waist too high, not suited for everyone. Will not be purchasing again. These used to be my favorite pants.

khaki bootcut pants/do not like them

have been ordering khaki bootcut pants from here for years and have always liked them but i just ordered two pairs a size 8 XL and 10 XL and they both were to big. i wore them 3 times and already have a hole by the pocket in the back. very disappointed in these khaki pants need to go back to older styles. also do not like no button on back and it not being open.

Please bring back the old pants!! I’ve been buying these for work for years. AE recently changed the style and I don’t know why they messed up a good thing. The pockets in the back are sewn shut and there are no buttons. Youre still using the old picture of the pants that I loved. The material is very cheap very stretchy and almost like pajama pants. So sad I have to hunt for new pants now.

Bought these last week for my new job tomorrow. They arrived finally. The pockets are sewn up, but have enough fabric to be there and are missing the buttons as shown in the pictures above. I didn't read any reviews, but read descriptions. This item doesn't say anything about faux pockets like others clearly state. This was the ONLY reason i bought these pants as I need back pockets to keep my phone in while working. I chatted with an agent who told me the "pockets" were decoration only and couldn't explain why the buttons were missing or why the fabric was there with slight holes I could fit my fingers inside indicating this was an error on the factory line.

DO NOT BUY!!! WASTE OF MONEY. sizing is way off!! comfortable but the lengthy is actually atrocious. I wear a size 4 long in their jeans and ordered size 4 x long. pics for reference.

PLEASE bring back the AE LOW RISE BOOTCUT PANT IN MORE COLORS!! I happened to get them on clearance and the fit was beyond perfect and felt like butter all day long! Enough with the high rise stuff...mid or low is best for girls with a butt! :)

I have been buying these pants for last 20 years for work but these are not same as the previous kick boot pants, not only the pockets in the back if they are not sawed up would open and look unflattering but as well they feel bigger I always get 4 long but these feel like 6 long. Fabrics feels thinner too, I use these pants for work and they usually last long but lately they fall apart especially in the seams of back pockets really fast - which you bring the old style back or might have to start to look for other brand :(

I have ordered six pairs of these in the last 30 days and they keep sending me the same trousers but high-rise and then will not take them back and return them at the store. So when you order it on the website it says low rise but when you receive it they're high-rise

This is listed as low rise, it is NOT low rise. If they want to sell kick boot pants that are high or mid rise they should label it as such. If you need low rise, DO NOT purchase these. The actual low rise that they used to sell were wonderful. I am disappointed that the tag says high rise, yet my order and confirmation state low rise, and these were promptly returned. AE has gone downhill over the years, and this is just one more bad review to add to the list.
