These pants are everything! You think they fit just like a dress pant, but they’re even better if that’s possible. The material is beautiful, soft and looks even better in person. The pictures don’t do them justice. I purchased three colours and I could not be happier with each of them. Do not hesitate, buy these!! I promise you will not be disappointed. They are by far the best pants I have ever purchased from American Eagle!!

I am 5'5", plus size, true 20 and carry most of my weight in my waist and legs. I recently purchased these with very low expectations because I know AE isn't a plus size brand but I am VERY PLEASED with how these fit. The length, the cut, the fabric. The designer did an excellent job on these trousers. 10/10. Recommending!

i will probably purchase every type of poppy pant AE puts out, I love these trousers! i have the curvy size and loved those, grabbed another pair in the standard because the curvy was sold out, and now the extreme baggy are my new staple. i wear these to work more days than not and theyre comfortable but very professional.

These are great pants! I have always wanted to pull off the wide legged trouser look, but struggled to find a pair that fit correctly through the hips and thighs. THESE are those pants! i am between a size 8-10 at AE and ordered the 8S. i first ordered the blue pair and love them! the color is beautiful and classic. They fit so well, i went ahead and ordered them in the beige color. When you find pants that actually fit you, buy them!!! ❤️

AE is one of the very few companies that offer low waisted trousers. I have never been able to wear high waisted pants. I am 5’3 with long legs and a short waist. These trousers are a beautiful blue and the material just hangs beautifully. I absolutely love the fit and style. Dress up or down easily. Excellent quality. I hope they have other colors!

got these on serious sale and might just have to buy all the colours. beautiful drape. flowy and fun. fabrication much much better than expected and as a 5’11” girlie the tall length hangs perfectly to the floor in flats. might swallow a shorter woman but if youre over 5’8” run dont walk for these!

These pants (I got the blue ones) are so incredibly well made, very thick material - not see through at all, if I liked the other color I would get them. I love how they fit it’s the perfect flowy pant! I am 5’4 and 120lb and ordered the 2 short and fits perfect :)

huge fan of these. the only reason i dropped it to 4 stars is because they make me look just a bit frumpy. but they’re so comfy that i love them anyway.
light blue color is lovely, material is soft, kind of like a linen-blend, and since they’re extreme baggy, they are amazingly comfortable.
i’m 5’6” and the 4 regular length is almost too long when i wear flats. otherwise true to size since i usually wear size 4 in AE.

there is no consistent sizing

I love Aerie but none of the sizes are consistent! For an example, I bought these trousers in black and blue( 2 long. )The black pair fits perfect but the blue pair is 2 inches longer and 1 inch wider in the waist . It is very annoying- other than that I like the pants, but you’re not really sure what size will come in the mail as it’s not consistent.

Why can’t AE make short that’s actually short?

Why can’t AE make short version that’s appropriate for short people? Im 5’3” usually quite happy with a 28” or even 29” inseam — these are dragging on the ground. I’m not interested in having these hemmed. This has happened with last few pairs I’ve bought from here. Also I ordered the 2 and they’re on the loose side. For reference I usually wear a 26-27 in jeans, a medium in legging. So these run large overall.
