I sized down and they are still pretty roomy. These may be my new favorite pants. I am 5'5" and 165 lbs and I got a size 10. I'm keeping them but an 8 might have fit a bit better. Hope that helps.

I love these pants. Comfortable, cool, and so cute. PLEASE make them in more colors. I would love a pain in black. I am 5'6" and around 165ish?? - size 12 fits perfectly.

i ordered these in two colors and i love them. they definitely run a bit big. I’m usually a size 6/8, and the 6s fit perfectly. anxious to see if they shrink in the wash or not

These are flowy, soft, a great pair of pants. Yes, size down. Think, Mary Stewart Masterson in fried green tomatoes, like when women first started wearing pants. Light and airy, good fit if you size down, they will still be flowy.

Size chart runs 6 inches too large.

If you get the right size these are amazing! Soft and comfortable. Elegant and the color is sophisticated. DO NOT follow the size chart. I did and my first order was a size 18, and it had a 42 inch waist! My recommended size based on the measurements I gave aerie is an 8 and thats what I ordered my second go. I just had to have these. An 8 fit! So these run 6 inches larger than the size chart states.
