Flattering!!

Normally I don’t find “mom” style shorts or pants to be very flattering on me, but for whatever reason these are super flattering! The rise is perfect and the buttons and pleating are super cute. Seems to be nice sturdy Jean material too.

These are most likely my new favorite shorts!! I love how the legs are sort of flared, and the pleats on the front are a very cute detail that only help add to their interesting shape. These look absolutely fantastic with a crop top and some fishnets or a cool pair of tall socks underneath. The fly zips up and has a double snap closure at the top, which isn't super obvious in the pictures. The sizing is great, and they fit me perfectly - the waist is very flatteringly high without sacrificing any length in the hem, so I never feel like I'm going to accidentally flash anything, what with the flared leg. All around, I'm very sure these will be a staple in my closet during warmer weather!! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

These are a lot bigger than expected.. I have many AE shorts (mom shorts specifically) and I am always a 0. These were comedically huge lol! But they are very cute, so I think a smaller size would be better! Just something to think about if you are ordering! although I did see a lot of people say they were small, I had the opposite problem!

The shorts were not as baggy as they are pictured on the model. I ordered up a size for an extra baggy luck, and they were way too tight. They were a lot shorter than pictured as well. But the high-rise was amazing.
