Absolutely love these shorts! I have always struggled to find comfortable decent length shorts. Well AE has done it again with providing an amazing product. The short comes about mid calf.

The size guide indicated that I was a 4 (135lb, 5ft 9in, 38in hip, 26in waist) but the 4 is snugger than I would like, I should have gone with the 6. But they are very stretchy so they are still comfortable. They have more stretch than the jeans so they retain their shape and don't stretch out as you wear them like the jeans do. The rise is perfect for me, a couple inches below my belly button, but I am extremely long-waisted so high rise is not high for me. Length is perfect, I would not call these Bermuda length at all. They are normal short length unless you are under five feet tall.

I am absolutely obsessed with these shorts. Please make them in more denim colors. These shorts are longer than a midi, yet shorter than a Bermuda, and the rise is high, almost to my belly button. I carry my weight in my butt and thighs, and these are super flattering on me. If you have a bigger butt you may want to size up. I will be buying many, many more of these shorts for work and for fun.

While it's true that these shorts are not really low-rise (more of a mid-hip rise) and they are shorter than official bermuda length, the fit is actually really nice. They're very comfortable and flattering.
