These are amazing, I literally just ordered another pair in a different color. Not extremely stretchy but not tight either so I suppose "lounge short" would fit the description although I would probably not lounge in these, I'd wear them out to an outdoor bar or a theme park or something. High rise is fantastic because I love wearing cropped tanks and its a perfect combo. I wish there were more colors, I would buy them all!! For reference I weigh about 155 lbs and am usually a Medium in everything and the sizing was perfect on this item.

So comfy and soft! I know these say lounge short but I'm gonna wear them everywhere. The faded
look is so cute and stylish. They aren't super stretchy and I have a bigger butt but I can still get them on and they fit perfect. I'm definitely petite and have a hard time finding things that that fit, especially my waist, so I'm in love with these. They are high waisted on me which I love, they reach just under my belly button ( I'm 5'1)

Omg - cannot recommend these enough. The fabric is so, so soft, and it has pockets, and the whole construction feels wonderfully sturdy! I like that the waistband isn't super stretchy, it feels more durable to me, but if you can't go without an elastic waistband this may not be for you. Personally I'm delighted with it and I bought one in each of the two colors currently available, maroon and black. These are a new staple of my sleepwear + housewear wardrobe!! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Waist feels a bit roomy when you put it on but material doesn't stretch so I would not size down. The tie waist would fix any slipping if you were worried. Love that there are pockets! Planning on wearing it all summer. I'm a size 14 and the large fits perfect

These shorts are not stretchy at all and kind of make me look squared but it may have been because they are too tight. I’m going to try sizing them up because I really love how soft and thick these are.
