quick back story-I am typically a size 0-2. I have been extremely small my entire life. I had some health issues and was prescribed an abundance of medication. Over the course of a year and a half. I gained more weight than I’d like to mention-I went from an xs to l. With this being said it was very difficult for me to find clothes I felt good in. Not to mention…being embarrassed of my significant weight gain. another words—-I did not KNOW how to dress my new body. I scoured searching for the correct style, fit, type etc. In Dec 2023. I seen these and was intrigued. I was drawn back bc of the price. I had NEVER spent this much on jeans in my life.. However I ended up buying them &&& I almost cried bc they actually fit in every single way! They hold in the stomach and dont get baggy either. They were a heaven sent! Thank you!!! I wear them a lot! &&& btw I ordered the super hise rise shorts hoping & praying for the same result. I will let yall know… Also I did start to understand a little better ae and all their “types”. I bought a pair of strigent shorts from the store &&& they are the first pair of shorts I smiled in. Lets hope the ae77 shorts fit, size ect are the same as these pants. I will have TWO pairs of jean shorts that fit and I feel good in.💙

First favorite jeans I've had in awhile...

So, I bought these jeans while they were on sale (thank goodness). At the listed price I would have had buyer's remorse almost immediately and wouldn't have given myself the opportunity to truly appreciate these jeans. But luckily, they went on sale, and I decided to try them out. I definitely recommend getting your first pair when they are on sale if you're wanting to try these out.
Personally, I like these jeans a lot. It's been a while since I've had a favorite pair of jeans, but I would definitely consider these my new favorites. I could easily get rid of my other jeans and use just this one (or two if I decide to buy a second).
The fit is great. A little longer than I would like as I ordered the short and still have to roll them just a little. But aside from that, these jeans are really comfortable. They look and feel like jeans, but they are soft and stretchy. I love how these jeans look on me. It's been so long since I've loved a pair of jeans so completely.
The last pair of jeans I loved this much was another AE pair that I found at a consignment shop ages ago, and I loved them so much I tried to find it at the AE store near me at the time to get another pair, but I couldn't find another like it. All the jeans in the store were just not quite the same material for whatever reason. These jeans aren't the same material as those ones either, but these jeans will definitely be just as loved as those ones were.
There's a chance I'll get another pair of these in the other shade at some point just to have more color options. Same with the shorts.

6S. These are nice, comfortable jeans. For the price point though, I expected a thicker denim like we used to get before everyone started making thin legging jeans. Definitely would’ve been annoyed if I paid full price.

I wish these fit as good as the light wash pair does for me in this same style. They became extremely baggy after the few times I have worn and washed them. Now I find them unwearable because I don't like the baggy look on me. They are incredibly soft and comfortable aside from the fact they completely have lost their shape.

Not worth the price and fit odd for a skinny jean

I love AE jeans, but these really missed the mark for me. I was wanting a dark denim skinny and was eager to try this new "premium" line. They fit odd and weren't the quality you'd expect for this price. The waist was too tight but the hips and legs are looser. The pockets sit wide and do not flatter the behind either. The fabric wasn't anything high end, and the legs road up as I walked in them. It just wasn't worth the money at all. I will stick to their regular line and have returned these. I'm 5'4 118lbs and usually wear a size 2 in AE jeans. Thats what I ordered in this style as well.

So these are overall a nice pair of jeans. The material is nice. They fit nice. Do I think they are 130 designer jean nice??? Not really. I bought the with a reward which I sadly lost when I returned them. I would maybe pay 75.00 for them but for 130 they went back. Lower the price and I will consider rebuying them. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I ordered these jeans online and was sent the wrong size went to try these expensive jeans and they don’t fit and tell me to go to the nearest store to get the right size when there is no store near me so I’m stuck with them and can’t use them
