Doesn’t fit like high rise

Material is great but I’m disappointed in the rise. It’s listed as high rise but it’s more of a mid rise to me. Waist is not comfortable at all like most other AE jeggings. I love the look but not the fit. Returning :(.

Weird waist gap!!!

So, I’ve been wearing American Eagle jeans for a few years, and my favorite fit is the skinny Jegging! The higher the waist the better in my opinion; I went through the super low rise fad in high school. I love to shop excessively and have two or three drawers full of AE skinny jeggings. Light, medium, dark wash, and more. No holes at all, lots of them, and holes with patches. Probably 20 pairs. Unfortunately, this is the FIRST pair I’ve encountered with a weird waist gap! Sooo sad. Maybe it’s because they are patched together all the way vertically down the legs? Disappointing. Gonna see if a seamstress can take the waist in for me, because I still think they’re super cute.
