AE Next Level Curvy V-Waist High-Waisted Jegging

These jeans are not super high waisted at all. They came below my belly button. The shape was off, they fit in the waist but were baggy in the hips and super baggy in the legs. The fit was off. Bring back the Dream Jegging! They were super high waisted with tons of stretch and compression.

The waist and thigh fit great until you get to the ankle. The ankle looks more like a straight leg than a jegging. I would take them back, but I washed them.

I love buying my curvy jeans from American eagle. Same size in all. Was excited to snag a pair of size 16 short jeans, needed new jeans already! But my size 18s fit me a tad bigger. I have some size 16 short curvy jeans that I've bought from here and they fit really good. I struggled to pick these up! Couldn't even get them to button. Definitely need to return!

These are not the same as the previous style of the same name. They're oddly baggy at the knees and calves, and ankles. They also have a lot lower rise, low enough for butt crack showing when sitting. Being short and muscular already makes it difficult to find jeans that fit beefy legs and a small waist. The previous style was perfect. They had enough stretch to not be baggy and still fit at the waist but considering the rise, sizing down isn't going to solve it.

Ordered my normal size, and these are the most peculiar fitting jeans. The calf area is huge, but the waist is too small. I thinks it's just the Curvy fit because this is only happening with the Curvy ones.

I normally wear a size 18-20, most 20’s are a little baggy on me. But I ordered a size 20 thinking they’d be like that but these were sooo tight around my waist. My waist is 45” and my hips are 56”

I love getting jeans from ae, these jeans though just aren't it. They're not high rise at all not in comparison with previous jeans I've bought, and these others jeans I just purchased last month. They feel significantly smaller and they are the same style so I'm not sure what's going on.

I buy AE jeans often and these are definitely lower than normal not low waist but hits at an awkward height.

I wear a size 10 x-long in all AE curvy jeans and a 12 in non-curvy AE jeans. These jeans are not it. They are so tight I barely got them on and they are NOT high-rise at all. They are definitely mid-rise. The color was nice, but the dye has the worst smell that just won't go away. I love AE jeans and am an avid AE jean buyer so this review doesn't come lightly, but these jeans are just not it and they are very disappointing.

I LOVE AE jeans. They are the only brand that makes x-short length jeans that fit my curvy and x-short length body. This is the first time I’ve bought a pair of jeans from their “curvy” line and I was NOT impressed. When I buy jeggings I expect them to be snug and to hug all my curves. These did not. They fit very loose around mid-thigh to the ankle as well as the waist. Maybe I got an off pair, but I was shocked by how off these jeans were. I returned them and got a non-”curvy” pair that I love. Color is true to picture.

I would not call these high rise at all. They are mid rise at best and doesn’t even come up to my belly button. Also, the sizing is so inconsistent, I ordered these in both 8 short and 10 short and both were tight on me though the 10 just barely fit, but I have a pair from last year that’s a curvy high rise jegging in size 8 that fits perfectly. Would not recommend.

The sizing of these are way off. I just bought another pair that was the same size, cut, curvy, and wash and they fit perfectly. This pair is SO tight, there's no way it's high waisted as it comes below my belly button, and the calves are huge? What is going on with you, AE! #AEReviewSweepsEntry

Why change a good thing, AE?! The new cut for your curvy jeggings is an  absolute nightmare. The calves are soo loose and it looks ridiculous on my pear shaped figure. And the seam at the bottom of the jean seems smaller amd tight, like I struggle to get my heel throigh. I returned them all and will not be buying in the future unless you go back to the skinnier cut through the lower leg and ankle.

Weird shape around the crotch and didn't fit in the thighs well. I'd rather squeeze into a regular pair because this v curvy cut just doesn't look good. The overstretch of the fabric made them look dumpy. The denim they use is so much cheaper than their jeans used to be. It seems like every year the jeans get worse. Why can't they make the jeans they used to? Returning these.

I normally love AE jeans. Especially since they came out with the Curvy line (although I'm still mad at the lack of curvy selection). These jeans..... I couldn't return them fast enough. They were like stiff and thin somehow? And not stiff like how good jeans feel. Stiff like how I imagine fabric made of plastic feels. Sizing was also off (runs smaller than other curvy jeans). Skip these.

I don't know why American Eagle keeps changing their curvy jeggings!! I HATE these! The waist barely covers the belly button but dips down. The waist also is cut smaller with barely any stretch. When I sized up the legs were way too big and not flattering. The butt pockets aren't as flattering as my old Jean's either. The old style I have the pockets were placed more center of the butt...these are more to the sides toward the hip further apart. That doesn't flatter a big butt it makes it look weird. The old curvy jeggings I had were perfect, comfy stretchy but held their shape. They keep changing the cut and it's annoying. I live in jeggings at work but I might need to look elsewhere.
