AE Dream Curvy High-Waisted Jegging

Fits more like a cotton legging than a denim jegging.

As soon as the short inseam was offered in AE pants I jumped on it years ago… I hate when my jeans are scrunched at my ankles and prefer a little bit of a cropped skinny jean look. That said I’ve never had issues like this before. The length from the top of the pants to the crotch is odd it doesn’t fit right and feels like it’s giving me a “front” wedgie. Hips and thighs feel great. THEN get down to the knees and the back of the knee there is so much extra fabric it looks ridiculous and feels so odd. The ankle opening is weirdly tight too. Just a very odd fit. Would have returned but stupidly I tore the tags off and tossed away. Was overconfident since I’ve purchased jeans online for years. Bad decision

I bought a pair of curvy jeans from AE a few years ago that (still) fit wonderfully. Since then, I've tried a bunch more and not one of them has fit the same as the older pair (or even the same as each other, the sizing is inconsistent between styles and even colors). They either fit like regular jeggings instead of curvy, run completely small (notice this a lot with their black jeggings), or run big in the knees/calves and small in the thighs, butt, and waist. On top of that, the waistband doesn't have as much stretch as it used to, which makes no sense to me. If the whole point is that the pants need to fit over your curves, why would you include a waistband that doesn't stretch enough to do that? My original pair of curvy jeggings is a 00 long. Got these in a 00 regular and a 0 regular because it seems those sizes don't come in long anymore. Could not get the 00 up past my thighs at all, and the 0 was baggy in the lower legs but tight in the whole upper half, including the not-stretchy waistband. I had to really fight to get them on and the waistband still felt tight once buttoned, however, I know from previous try-ons that a 2 would be too big everywhere, so I'm stuck. Also, as an example of the inconsistency, I also got a pair of curvy jeggings in gray in this same order, size 0. They were too big everywhere. Makes it super hard to figure out what size I should actually be getting.

I had a pair that I love since I got them so I reordered another one and the size is off. They are the same but they don’t fit the same and they’re not as soft.

After only two wears, it ripped unexpectedly. Despite its stylish look and comfort, the quality didn't match the price I paid

Horrible. Faulty zipper that broke after wearing them once. Contacted ae who would not return or exchange the faulty product. Don’t waste your money on an unreliable product.

I'm returning these jeans. The material feels like it will attract lint and hair and the waist fits like they are low rise pants that I pulled up too high. I usually love AE jeans but these are weird and don't work for me.

The fabric on these jeans are SO horribly itchy. I don't understand why they changed. I had purchased the same pants in 2021 (in a larger size at the time) and went to replace them a few weeks ago since I lost weight. I can't even wear them. The fabric is so itchy and rough against my legs, it's not even comfortable. The jeans stretch out everywhere, except the waist. Disappointed, this quality is horrible.

These fit nothing like the picture. These are extremely baggy at the knees! Worst fit ever!

I've been buying these exact jeans for years and I'm not sure what happened, but the new version are not good. The rise is much lower, and I think AE has changed their sizing because these jeans are much smaller than my last pair. I'm so disappointed, AE is the only place that does extra short lengths.

These jeans are not made of the same stretchy material as the rest of the collection. They have no give and are not comfortable.

I am not sure what has happened with these jeans. I own two other pair of black dream high waisted jeans and they fit just fine. These I could barely get up my thigh. Everything is off with them. This was the same for another pair of blue jeans I ordered. Highly disappointed and will have to return.

I used to order this one and the normal high rise for YEARS now. Only jean they would fit me right for my height (I'm 5' 9"). I needed to buy new ones and ordered online out of trust that it would be the same as it has been since 2016 when I began buying these. The material is CHEAP now. Super stretchy that it looks baggy and no longer firm. And one pair's zipper broke after the 3rd time I wore it which never happened before. Super bummed as these were my go to for years and now I have to look elsewhere. I wish they made it clear that this isn't made the same anymore.

These are no different than their regular jegging with the tiniest bit of extra stretch. I have three pairs of the old version of curvy jeans and these fit completely different! The ankles are baggier, the waist and back pockets are tighter, the front pockets are smaller, the rise is lower, and the zipper feels cheap and was sewn in poorly. Even the way the tag was sewn in was awful. It’s very clear that they changed manufacturers for a cheaper alternative while trying to charge the same amount. As someone who has strictly been wearing AE jeans for over a decade I am extremely disappointed.

These used to be super flattering. Now they are loose fit and I certainly haven’t lost weight. They are supposed to be skinny jeans. They look dumpy and unflattering now and I waisted over 100$.

My normal size is 12 in curvy but there was NO stretch. I went back to get the 14 and it’s so tight. My other 12 in AE Dream Curvy fits perfectly so I had high hopes for this! #AEReviewSweepsEntry
