AE Denim X Skinny Jean

Ordered my usual AE size, I am 5'8" and 140 lbs and they fit like a charm. Length hits right at ankle, so I can roll up or wear down. Super comfy and forgiving without losing their shape and feeling baggy.

I didn't notice the rips in these jeans when i ordered them or i would have passed on them. But , tried them on anyway and loved the fit and feel so much i decided to keep them. Besides, the rips r high enough that a tshirt hides them pretty well.

I ordered my normal size, and these fit like a glove! I absolutely love them. Snug but not uncomfortable, and the rise is not real low or real high. I think online the whiskering is portrayed as a little lighter and more obvious than they actually are, which is fine with me. I am 5'11, and got the extra long, which are perfect. Super happy with this purchase, there isn't anything I would change about them!

I love everything about these jeans. They fit great and I like that they are some what distressed without having too many tears

I ordered a 4 (without reading reviews) because another pair of size 4 AE jeans I had fit me well (though I felt that the long was longer than the last time I ordered). I loved these at first, but every time I wore them after the first few hours they would begin to sag and I would spend the rest of the day hiking them back up. I regret not ordering a 2 in these. Even if its a squeeze in the morning its better than having to keep pulling them up. I also like that these have just a little touch of distressing.

I love the jeans but they were loose on me. I ordered a size 0 Short. I returned it.

Fit perfectly, love the jeans ... but returning due to smell :/

These jeans fit great! They are comfy and hold their form throughout a full day of wear. The only problem was they smelled like moth balls. I’ve washed them a few times and still can’t get the smell out.

Overall I am happy with these jeans. They are stretchy and super comfy. The only reason I didn’t give them five stars is because they STINK. I have only washed them once so far but the “factory odor” was very strong and didn’t go away after the first wash. Hoping it goes away soon.

Very comfy but colour is not the same as pictured not as blue, pretty dull colour compared to picture. A little long but super comfy

Great quality, color and style, but I wouldn't necessarily call them skinny. I'm 5 ft. 3 in./106 lbs./24.5" waist and both the knees and calves are pretty loose on my thin frame, even in a 00 short. The fit's similar to AE's straight leg fit, but my straight leg jeans keep their shape much better. These tend to migrate upwards on my lower legs and become looser around my waist as the day goes on, so a belt is definitely necessary whenever I wear them!

The dye on these ones is a little smelly at first but after a few washes it goes away. The jeans are very comfortable otherwise.

I ordered a size larger than normal and wish I hadn’t. Definitely a stretchy Jean. However, they are really comfortable!

I haven't purchased a pair of AE jeans in years until these. I read all the reviews and ordered size 16L after checking my measurements with the sizing chart. I am 5'8 and 188lb, the fit is amazing! I thought the destruction was just destruction, but I could feel my leg through the hole on the left side. My only issue with these jeans is the fact that they bag out after about an hour or so of wearing, and that drives me crazy! It may simply be the X stretch material but regardless I will be returning these and finding a different pair without the X stretch.

I like my skinny jeans fitted. Normally wear a 4 or 6 in the skinny jeans but these were very big in 6 because so much stretch. I didn't even try the 4. Otherwise nice jeans. Good wash, just so stretchy. Size down a size or two.

These jeans were a little darker than I expected...they seemed like they were medium wash but they had a darker tint to them. I really love the rips on them, there's not so much that they look like they are really falling apart and should go to the trash. they look really cute!

I love that these jeans dont flare out too much but are not a second skin. The go with everything and its the first pair of pants I can wear with my Converse high tops. My only complaint is that they are loose around the waist so I either have to keep pulling them up or wear a belt everytime which is disappointing.

When I first wear these they are snug and fit perfect, but after a few hours I could pull them off done up. They stretch out in the bum and waist so much there is no point in wearing them sadly. Wish I could return

I've always liked/bought the Skinny style and have been the same size 4 with American Eagle jeans for YEARS. But I think I should have gone down to a size 2. These fit fine through the waist and hip but are so wide around my knees. The material is much much thinner than my last pair and does not hold shape well. So stretchy to where I feel I look frumpy. They will be my "fat jeans" or house work pants that I am not afraid to get dirty even though they are brand new. While the price point is still great when on sale, American eagle jeans are getting too cheap for me to even justify wearing. I am looking for something with more quality. Now I am not afraid/hesitant to spend some extra bucks elsewhere for a better quality material.

I’m 5’5” 130lbs and usually wear a 2/4. I bought these in a size 4. I thought they would be cute to wear cuffed with booties. They aren’t tight enough around the ankle and are s lot looser than I expected. I’m glad I bought them on sale. These will be my go to lazy jeans. They also stretch a lot!

These looked pretty dorky. They were fine, just borderline mom jeans. So I returned them. Wash was a lot darker in person. Jean dye smell was intense.

I threw these on for the first time to run some errands around town. They fit great at first. I wasn’t even out of the house when I was already tugging them up every 5 seconds. I just can’t wear jeans that I’m constantly having to pull up after every move I make. I’m going to return them and try to size down and see if they stay up better. I hope so because i really like how they look!

Like the denim and style although the fit is somewhat large

I have AE skinny jeans that I wear with flats or booties, but these are now couple inches shorter and won’t work.

I love AE jeans because they (used) to fit my body type so well. A size 4 Reg was always the perfect size. The new jeans that are available now, aren’t as comfortable. Too tight. When I’ve purchased a size bigger, the waist is too big. Please go back to the old sizes??

I love the fit of these jeans and I also love the fact that there are a couple of small rips. Very comfortable however they smell so bad it literally gives me a headache. I have washed them three times so far to try and get the smell out but it's still there. They need to not use this particular dye anymore. It's gross.

They fit nicely at first, but they quickly get very baggy and I keep having to pull them up over and over. I can take them off without even unbuttoning them. I’m a loyal AE jeans fan but I never wear these unless all my pants are dirty, maybe. I’m very sad about it.

I love the way these jeans fit and the look of them, but they came smelling awful. I washed them 2x so I could wear them and THE SMELL REMAINS! I can’t wear them

Love the colour of this pair. They fit perfect when I tried them on but I wore them for one day and they stretched so much, they look like "mom" jeans now. I took tags off because they fit well but now I am stuck with a huge pair of jeans. I would get a size or two smaller than what I usually am.

When i selected this item the model wearing the jeans obscured the hole just bellow the left front pocket. I was disappointed to find the hole so wasnt my wife which is who i purchased these for. So with that said i am sure i missed the selection view before ordering so i played a role in the mix up. ......Disappointed !!!!
