AE Stretch Barrel Jean

Best pair of black denim I have ever bought. Perfect length -short. And perfect fit. Do NOT bag out as the day wears on.

I absolutely love the cut of these jeans. . This is the second pair I purchased. I found that they both fit relatively the same-- however, I feel like the light denim color I got is a little bit more generous in the leg cut. I also love that the denim is heavier. It really holds shape all day, super comfortable. I opted to get the regular length, instead of the tall length I prefer in other styles. For reference I'm 5'8 around 130 lb. smaller waist, bigger hips I wear 6 or 8 in AE jeans(6 for looser styles, and higher waisted, 8 for more fitted jeans, like leggings, super stretch etc). With the the barrel cut, I wear a 6.

The black wash is perfection! I have been searching forever for the perfect pair of jeans that are just the right amount of loose, mid-rise, and not too cropped. These are it! I'm a 40+ year old mom and haven't shopped at American Eagle in years, but I'm so glad I gave these a chance. The black wash is super soft, comfy, and looks great on my athletic thighs. I went with my normal size and ordered the long length. I also tried the indigo wash, but the color looked lighter than the photo. I'm patiently waiting for the medium wash to come back in stock!!

I bought the barrel jeans in 3 colors. I love them. But try them on before purchasing if you can. The 3 colors all fit differently in length and size. But I love them!

I purchased a short by accident lol but I do have 3 other colors and I’m obsessed with the widening throughout the thigh, tapered bottom, and not-so-baggy bum.. chef’s kiss! I’m 5’4 175 lbs and will be exchanging the 8 short (pictured), for an 8 regular!

Love these jeans! Took one size smaller than usual and they fit so nice (still a bit loose). Plus, went with the long option as I’m 5’7’’ and a regular fit would have definitely been too short.

These are very cute & the rise is as advertised. Normally I buy the Short length but they were too short even tho i’m 5’2 so keep that in mind. But you need to size down like an insane amount. I’m a 4 in most brands, and I had to exchange for a 0 in these. You could’ve fit another of me in the size 4 it was insane, they fell right down. I honestly probably could’ve even gone for a 00 since they’ll loosen with wear. I recommend sizing down a ton or buying multiple sizes and returning what doesn’t fit!!! I even have jeans form AE from 2 years ago that are a 4 and fit fine, so idk what they did.

TOO SHORT! I’m really disappointed in the length of these jeans. I’m 5’9 and 158 pounds. I bought a size 8 Long and although they fit well until my knees, they are way too short for taller gals and don’t meet the long criteria. They are highwater on me and since they don’t offer them in X-Long, I will be returning them asap. They should make these in X-Long because AE is usually my go-to for all things tall girl jeans.

I bought a pair of black jeans and the fabric is so much thinner that the fabric of blue ones. They stretched and look really bad after just one wear. Can't return them now since I wore them, but definitely not a quality product. New return policy basically means American Eagle doesn't want to be responsible for selling bad quality products. Not shopping here anymore.
