AE77 Premium Trench Coat

Wow. So grateful to have gotten this coat on clearance for $14.99. Was able to get a medium and it fits a bit over-sized as in the description. Love the color, snaps and buckles. Feels like a quality trench coat with a medium weight to it. I'm sure to get a lot of use from this. Shipping/delivery was amazing - got in two days after placing order. Could not be happier with this purchase.

I’ll be honest — the price was more than I wanted to pay at this store. AE has a more everyday than “premium” reputation. However, I was really pulled in by the product photo showing a subtle, almost iridescent sheen on the green colorway. I wondered if it was effect of the studio lighting, but in person, it really does have a soft color changing effect just like in the photo. Besides the nice coloring, I really liked the addition of nylon to the fabric blend. It’s more breathable and a lot nicer than polyester, and adds some drape and durability to the cotton. It’s not too stiff and will soften with time. The lining is polyester, which was not mentioned on the product specs, but I expected it would be. It’s not a cheap coat, but it’s also not top of the line. The leather buckles are a nice touch, and they do indeed appear to be genuine leather. Stitching looks very good. The only thing I would have liked to be different are the buttons. I feel the snaps cheapen the look, but they operate smoothly and stay fastened securely. The lapels are a nice size in proportion with the oversized styling of the jacket. The sizing runs large, even for an oversized style. I usually take an XL in long coats (pear shaped) but the L had plenty of room and still gave the intended drapey, oversized look. It’s very long. I’m 5’10” and it hits the same part of the leg as it does on the model. A77 has exceeded my expectations with this one and I’m looking forward to using it all spring and fall.

I bought it 2 weeks ago super in love with it

got in the green.. the tan was sold out in my size.. nice coat , fits nice but hate the green color.. has a iredescent purplish color . ruins the coat.. i returned it ..
