AE Plaid Trench Coat

its very oversized. usually im a xl-xxl in a&e sweaters or coats but i had to size down to a large and its still big. for reference im a 14-16 in jeans 42 bust 5’6 & 190lbs

I was so excited to purchase this coat iv been watching it for a while, it’s surprisingly heavy and I seem as if it will keep you warm, the fit is great and I’m excited to wear this out when it stops snowing!

I can’t say enough good things about this coat. I wanted a wool trench for the longest time. I debated getting this one because they said it ran large. I think it’s perfect because I love to wear hoodies under mine. I got a size medium and I’m typically a size 8/10 and I can wear a good size hoodie underneath this. I’m in love and will be wearing it for many seasons to come. Hope this helps.

i got this at 50% off and i think it was a steal. its kinda like a wool blend, a little oversized but super cute. i would not buy at regular but if you can get it on sale, do it!

i love how thick and sturdy this coat is but it definitely runs big. i am usually a medium in stuff but i sized down and it still feels bigger than i want it to be.

I like the matieral of the jacket but it is huge. I’m usually a medium but ordered a small and it’s still big. The sleeve length is perfect but the width everywhere (body and arms) is really big, it feels bulky even when tied. You could comfortably wear a chunky oversized knitted sweater under it. The pockets also both have an extra vertial stitch about a tenth of the way into the pocket from the back which divides it into two segments, this means my iphone 15 just barely fits inside of it when if the stitch wasn’t there (I see no function for it) it would securely fit without risk of falling out.

the shoulders are designed dropped which is not flattering with trench coat. i had to order two size smaller, still didnt like the fit. fabric and the pattern is very cute. if they did a classic cut that would be a great coat. ishould return it again.

I really wanted to love this coat. I am size 8/10 .. 160.. busty.. usually have to go up a size for coats. Originally bought a large and was swimming in it- returned for a medium and still was huge and shapeless. even with the belt- the material is thin and frankly kind of sloppy looking.. just meh. not worth the price.

Bought this one for the oversized fit, but the shoulder seam is weirdly tight & low on the shoulder while the rest of the fit is appropriately oversized. If you have super narrow shoulders, maybe it’ll work for you, but average-to-broad-shouldered folks should steer clear.

The colors are very boring. I cant find a reason to even try to make this work. 1 star for effort!!
