Cute Sweatshirt but Note Color Does Transfer

This sweatshirt is adorable. Yes, it runs small. And yes, the color does transfer. I wore a white t-shirt underneath the first time I wore it. The t-shirt is no longer white, but that's okay. I washed and dried the sweatshirt by itself. I continue to wear the same t-shirt with the red transfer. I will say that it does help to read the care instructions on all items the AE sells. Most of these items include an additional tags that warns about color transfer. I do love this sweatshirt and I am very happy with my purchase. I see other reviews that do not recommend it.

This sweatshirt is very cute I love the snoopy products from american eagle. It fits true to size it is a little shorter of a sweatshirt so if you want oversized I would size up. The red dye comes off during the first wash and also make sure to wash before you wear for the first time because the red wore off on some pants I was wearing. MUST be washed by itself.

Cute sweatshirt. Very comfy. Just be ware…wash before wearing. And maybe a few times. The dye came out and my arms and bra were red. Washed it a couple of times in cold water and finally put a bit of vinegar in water to try to stop the bleeding. Other than that I love it. That is why I gave it a 4 out 5 stars.

I absolutely love this sweatshirt! It is a bit cropped, so I got a size up to make it regular-length. The material is so comfy and it fits great. I'd recommend sizing up to get more of the "relaxed" feel to it if that's what you're looking for!

WASH BEFORE WEARING!! Seriously, wash this shirt before wearing unless you want everything around you to turn red streaky— yes even your skin will turn red! Besides that, it’s a very cute shirt that looks exactly as pictured. For reference, I’m 5’8” & about 126– a medium is roomy (enough for a tank or fitted tshirt under) & hits about hip level. I washed on cold (separately!) & hung dried, it did not lose color of shirt or graphic & didn’t shrink.

I wore this for my birthday dinner, and then fell asleep in it when I got home. When I woke up, and changed into something else, I noticed my arms looked sunburnt. It’s 30° and cloudy here so I’m not actually sunburnt. The color of this shirt stained my skin! I’m glad I came back to read the reviews so I know to wash it by itself. I’m going to keep it either way, because we do anything for Snoopy.

The fit is really cute, but I wore it after washing it four times and it turned my whole upper body different shades of red and pink. I understand red transferring to clothes … but skin? Be careful!!

Do you like pink clothes??? Do you like your skin to look sunburnt? Do you like pink socks???? I have washed this 5 times and it still bleeds all over our clothes. I washed it with dog towels I washed this with cleaning towels, I washed it by itself. It was $60 and ruined close to $150 In clothes.

i was excited to finally get this cute Snoopy sweatshirt, i have to say very disappointed. After first wash, it bled. second wash it bled more and laundry detergent left left stains. i was only able yo weat it out once.

I’m so disappointed in the quality of this sweatshirt. Even when washed alone, it bled all over itself. Snoopy and the AE tag are pink now. It even bleeds when you wear it! It stained a pair of sweatpants.
