Giant gaping hole

Can’t really tell from the pics but there’s a giant hole vertically down the front of the shorts. Hi cut bikini visible and if the pocket shifts, more underwear to see. Cute if it’s a bathing suit cover but other than that not a very versatile pair of shorts. I’m returning them.

So, I wanted to love this style. I don’t not like them but not love. The front rips are so torn that my underwear are clearly visible. I love rips but maybe not flashing the world. The fit is ok. Not really a curvy girls dream fit IMO. I’ll probably stick with the 90’s fit

sizing is weird

i have multiple other pairs of american eagle jeans and shorts and they are size 4 and 6 if theyre stretchy but if theyre “strigid” i get a size 8. my 6’s are big on me. these shorts were so small i couldnt even get them over my hips.

These are cute! But their too small in the stomach and waist Im a size 20 in jeans and normally american eagle jeans are too big in the waist for me but these are too small! Otherwise super cute

Badly placed rips

Way too ripped. Hated how the bottom of the short doesn't connect. Feels like it won't hold together long.
Loved how they fit just a little more snug with the crossover button for extra support. Would get this fit in a different short.

Have been really struggling with american eagle’s sizing lately and these shorts were no expection. Order one pair of jeans, and two pairs of shorts all the same size. These ones did not fit at all. The other two fir perfectly.

Criss Cross waist is horrible

i went in person to try some shorts on and i regularly wear size 16 at AE.. i have shorts and jeans in many styles and i’ve never struggled.
all of a sudden majority of the shorts have this”criss cross” v waist thing and it takes out around 2 inches of the waist. The shorts fit perfectly everywhere else besides the waist, i even sized up to 18 and even 20!!!! and i still had the same problem, usually size 16 waist is larger on me too.
