AE Khaki Mid-Length Walking Short

Comfortable and stretchy material! Perfect for the fair, hikes, etc! Perfect high waist as well. I am usually between a 4-6, but I sized a 6 since there was a tie to make them smaller, and they were a perfect fit! Also, the fit and flare look was adorable. Th length of shorts covers the whole booty so I’d feel comfortable wearing these to summer church activities!

I can normally be a size 8-10 in American Eagle and the 8 fit so comfortable and I still have some room, these shorts are so soft and a stretchy material theyre a little loose but still so flattering and at the perfect length my thighs won’t rub

These shorts didn’t work for me, due to running an entire size or more smaller than expected. I ordered a 10 to have a loose fit, but they felt more like a size 6. Have to my daughter who is a 6-8 and they fit her perfectly. She loves them, and says they’re comfortable and easy to wear. Recommend sizing up one or 2 sizes unless you have a very small waist.

I wasn’t sure about the shorts when I first tried them on because they seemed a little large around the waist. I usually get size 6 in AE jeans, but my waist is smaller than my hips so I always have to wear a belt to make it fit properly. With these shorts, I loved the length and coverage! They bunch up when you sit down but its something to get used to. They are also pretty stretchy and airy, not too tight on the thighs which is amazing! Im also glad I didn’t go a size lower because I think this would’ve been too tight for me. Overall, great shorts!

I’m usually a 0 in AE pants, but I think that you should size down. It is nice that there are drawstrings, but I think it would be a little nicer on the waist if I sized down. They are very comfy and flattering, but on my fair skin it looks a little bit awkward

#AEReviewSweepsEntry I wasn't sure when I first tried these on but I now think they are super cute. They are the advertised length and color. What I wasn't sure about is the loose fit. They are a bit bunchy in the front, I tried to show this in the pictures. When i sit down they have a lot of loose material collecting on top of my legs. However I they do look the same as the AE pictures so I think this is a part of the style (sort of retro?), They are super lightweight and comfy. I plan on wearing it with tight/dark tops (such as the AE black tube top that has little white daisies on it!)

The material is super nice to touch, stiff to hold form yet lightweight. As a petite person there was a little too much leg space, but oversized can be cute so I'm fine with it. These probably look great on those with thicc thighs. I expect these to be a lifesaver when the weather gets hot because of their lightweight fabric and slight bagginess. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

They are big but super confortable! Also if you don't really have a behind... you will have literaly 0 in thoses. Great quality but size down if you arent looking for a baggy look. Also if you are worried your thighs arent going to fit don't worry....

The material on these is a bit thinner than I expected, but incredibly soft. They cut just a smidge short on me and the front puffs out a bit, but I don't think I would want to size down (the buttons do up fitting but not snug, but once I tied the drawstrings it fit a lot better). I really like it paired with a fitted black t-shirt or tank top. Overall, these aren't everything I wanted them to be, but they're comfy and make my butt look nice, so I'll definitely be wearing them this summer.

These looked so cute on the model, and I really liked the ties and the slightly longer length, but unfortunately the way these shorts cinch at the waist and flare out attractively on the size 2 model in the photos is not how they look on a size 10. They just looked frumpy, like something your mom would've worn in 1998 on a safari. The pleats weren't attractive and just made the shorts looked wrinkled, and sadly I just don't really like I should've gone for the khaki. I might replace these for a different color, but not sure. These were nice and I'm sure they look better on slimmer figures.

These fit way larger than I expected! I normally wear a 10 in AE jeans, and I am aware of the different fabric and possible different fit associated with these two items. But these seemed almost another size larger than a 10... SUPER comfy material and if I had the right size they are definitely my fave summer shorts.

I struggle with this. I bought an 8 at first, and the tighter fit made my butt look uh-mazing. But, there was a weird gap in the tummy area, especially when I sat down. I returned and ordered a 10. Then the gap got BIGGER, and my butt no longer looked amazing. A real bummer...because they were super comfortable. I just couldn't feel confident in them. For reference, I have thick thighs and thick hips with some love handles and a small waist. #AEReviewSweepsEntry The pockets were AWESOME, though, and so was the material.

These were not flattering, too big, and too long. I think they would've looked like mom shorts even if they had fit my waist. For reference, I ordered a 00 and am 4'10" and 95lbs. #AEReviewSweepsEntry
