AE Next Level Patched Super High-Waisted Denim Short Short

I really like these shorts! I'm always torn between getting "curvy" shorts or regular ones, but I like to have more room in my thighs so with this order I did all curvy ones (except for this pair). I'm small on top but wide on the bottom🤣! I've gained some weight and now fit 8's and 10's, stretchy stuff like the NXT Lvl line, I wear a curvy 8 for the most part if they are high rise or relaxed fit in that line, 10s in Strigid. I feel like these run a bit big in the waist/overall, I went with the 10 being they are not "curvy" and they are a bit loose for me, I think 8s would of worked just as well, maybe even a little better. That being said even though they are a little big, they don't gape anywhere and they still look more snug on me than they actually are. The length is good for my short legs, if you have a curvy bottom (like me), they do/can look like booty shorts lol but it doesn't bother me. If you want a snug fit, size down or at the least get your normal size. I really like that they look like they have holes but don't actually have them, I actually want more of these for that reason! I forgot to add this to my other reviews, personally to keep the shorts how I like them, when washing I don't throw the Strigid ones in the dryer, Nxt Lvl ones I do, I'm worried the dryer may mess up the perfect fit with the less stretchy Strigid items🤷🏼‍♀️, the nxt lvl ones like these hold their shape/fit with no issues being dryed, just my opinion though!
