This is my first pair of AE shorts and I absolutely love them!! I found them in the clearance section therefore there wasn’t many sizes to choose from so I went for a 6 which is a size smaller than my normal but the fit was perfect. For reference I am 5’0 and weigh 145lbs and for any of the ladies that have had c-sections and have a hard time trying to conceal the little pouch these definitely help hide it!!

I bought this while on vacation, and I absolutely love these shorts to death they are quite literally some of the best denim shorts I own. Not only are American Eagle jeans the only ones that fit right around my waist and legs, but these shorts are absolutely perfect in length and fit! Not too super tight, but not so loose that it looks weird. Fits right around my waist and allows for more mobility around the hips and thighs!

When it comes to shorts I always size up 1. But that is unnecesary with this style! Get your regular size- there’s plenty of room in the waist and thigh! I will be exchanging for my true size and there’s no doubt in my mind these will be a favorite!
Stats: 5’6” / 155lbs - althletic yet bottom heavy / more pear shaped. I ordered a 12, will be exchanging for a 10 (my true AE size)

these jean shorts are the perfect length and dont show too much. they go far enough up the waist to cover love handles and the legs are loose enough to move around in but not too loose.
