looser fit than expected but love it either way, ordered a 16 short fit great. context to running larger is technically my waist is right at 38in but these jeans despite being 2 sizes smaller than what AE size chart recommends tend to fall down some off my waist. my sister loved them tho I think shes gonna order her own pair

these fit slightly smaller than other jeans of the same size but still button comfortably, resulting in a tighter fit on the tummy and backside, but a nicelt baggy jean on the leg. theyre exactly what i was looking for—I wear a 20
