These are nice! They are my first pair of stovepipe jeans but will not be my last. I did go down one size and they fit beautifully. The pant legs are the perfect in-between snug and loose. I am also pleased with the grey color. It goes with everything - all the neutral colors for a simple, easy look, or bright colored tops for a fun look.

I bought these about a week ago and have worn them a couple times already! The fabric is mid weight and a nice gray color. Hits right below my ankle and is mid rise. I’m 5’8” and weigh 145 and the size 4 fits great with a little wiggle room. I wish I had them in more colors!!

First off, sizing with the wide leg/loose AE jeans are very large imo.
I am normally a 27-28 or 4/6 and 2s fit similarly in AE.
I have a pair of size 4s in non stretch and these are 2s in stretch and fit very comfortably.
I just put them on and expect some give with wear, so I'm glad I sized down.
I was reluctant to try stovepipe because the fit is unfamiliar, I think they fit similarly to the ultra wide leg, just a slightly narrower leg. I was worried they were too tapered at the bottom but they were wonderful. I will definitely get another color, AE is my new go to.

it runs a little large, I ordered size 8, and i am a curvy 5’8 170-175 pounds - but it is not so large i would mail back and wait for the size 6 / pants also it at the ankle, so i might experiment with ordering another pair sized down in a long for a different look.

2nd REVIEW-
The first time I ordered these jeans in an XLONG the inseam was 31 inches so returned them to the store and had the store order me another pair hoping I just got a defective pair. The second pair I received has an inseam of 33 1/2. Much better since I’m 5’10”. I love the jeans.
