Something wrong with sizing!

in my original order I ordered 00 regular (it is my size I always wear 00 from American Eagle) they arrive and they were looking super cute on me but they were short and also I couldnt feel comfrtable in them like I felt like they were running small. Their Hips area was small. I went to a store and started exchange thinking that 1 size up would be perfect fit and waited for delivery again because they didn’t have them in the store. They just arrive today and this time around my hip and bell fits but my legs are looking way too ugly and baggy. Plus it is so short for regular and I am 5 8”. I own long and regular size so many jeans but AE never have consistansty on their jeans. Like idk what can I order online anymore..

Uncomfortable, awkward fit

Whats going on, AE? You used to be my favorite place for jeans. Not anymore.
Short pant leg, baggie legs, baggie butt. But a super tight waist. Overall very uncomfortable and awkward fit.
2 stars only because the fabric is thick.

Sizing is all off...

I own a pair of size 4 curvy high-waisted shorts and a pair of size 4 (NOT-curvy) extra short mom jeans from AE, which both fit somewhat loosely. These jeans (I ordered size 4, curvy, short) fit perfectly in the waist, but much too tight in the booty. The sizing here is totally inconsistent. I order online because I need the options to buy short and curvy, but I can never reliably order the same size and fit, and I wind up returning much of what I order.

seams are pulling apart

I have only been wearing these jeans for about a month and the seams are pulling apart, so I don’t know if it’s just this specific pair that is bad quality because I bought the exact same pair last year and they last me about a year before they were no longer wearable

These jeans smell like old tires and bleach

Fit is so good, they're so cute. Too bad they smell like bleach, and old tires and poo breath, and the smell never washes away. And no it's not s dirty pair, 3 different pairs of AE jeans came this way and it's a fog bank of stench and it's vile. I know it seems like I must be being dramatic or exaggerating but no. They should be burned and the ash spread into a volcano.

Inconsistent Sizing

Very inconsistent sizing. Ordered the darker pair first in a 12 and they fit perfect. Ordered these in a 14 for a baggier fit and couldn’t even zip them up. Super frustrated with the inconsistency in the sizing in jeans that seems to exist in every single pair.

Not as curvy as expected

As someone who used to LOVE AE’s curvy jeans, I’m super disappointed in these. I bought the same exact pair a couple of years ago and they fit my curves perfectly (I still own my old pair and they still fit). it seems like they changed up their waist to hip ratio on them because I had to go up several sizes for the lower half to fit in a flattering way, but now there is so much room at my waist, which defeats the whole point of them being for curvy women. I bought a couple of other pair in other styles and had the same issue. If you’re someone with a very curvy figure, I don’t think I would recommend.
