Love the jeans, they look good but I should have sized down. Waist fits pretty good but the fabric in the lower Mama tummy just doesn't work for me... its baggy and doesn't hold you in at all. After wearing them for 2 hours they sag off your butt too.

I am always a size 4 regular in jeans from AE, so I bought my normal size. I just got them and they seem like a size 4 SHORT! And they are slightly loose around the waist, so I thought I would wash them to see if they drink a bit, even knowing they are also a bit short as well…. washing them didn’t make them snugger or shorter. I will buy a size 2 long to see if that fixes the issues :|

Pay close attention to the label, we thought we were getting a 2 long, but it turns out to be a 2w long and we already washed them thinking they would shrink, but they just got baggier. This Jean material has plenty of stretch. She could have wore the 00 I think.

These jeans run maybe a size bigger. The stretch is a lot more than I expected ! These jeans did tend to move a lot In the calf area, I did have to constantly move the seams back to the side of the calf. These are very comfy! I typically order a 16 but these are way too big I don’t understand how the sizes vary so much from style to style and most of their jeans run smaller than other brands but these, no. You have to size down or order your regular size in other brands.

Nice color but smelly and large

I’m typcially a size 12 in jeans but with AE next level jeans I can size down. I ordered these in the Medium Vintage color in size 10 x-short but the waist/butt area is still too big. After wearing for a few hours I have the classic elephant butt i.e. everything is sagging. I think I could’ve sized down to an 8. The other issue I’m having is that after multiple washes the formaldehyde smell wont go away. It is a very strong smell and it’s a little irritating. So I’m stuck with jeans that are too big and smell terrible.

I have been a regular and loyal American Eagle jean girlie for over 10 years. While I wish this particular wash was a hair darker, it is still nice, and I love the fit of the super high-waisted jegging. I took stars off the overall rating, though, because of the still-not-resolved horrible customer service experience during the process of purchasing these. It is seriously causing me to question if I will continue shopping with this brand whatsoever. So...I would give four stars for the jean itself and zero stars for customer service if I could.

Bad Jeans

I ordered this in November and after working with the team I got it a month later. Now almost 2 months later and these jeans already have hoes in the thighs. 10 years I could I owned jeans for years and now I can't get through 6 months without them getting holes, not even the curvy girl jeans are saved from the exact same fate. They changed something and now these jeans are no longer worth buying. Shop elsewhere.

These fit me kind of weird compaired to other AE jeggings. The 6 was too big everywhere, but the 4 was too small in my hips. I also didn’t love the color. The fabric wasn’t great either.

These jeans were terrible. The material wasn’t soft or stretchy like others. The rise was also lower than expected. They were a little too long and too baggy at the bottom. I like my jeans to fit tight all the way down to my ankle and these didn’t. Too baggy and loose at the bottom which looked weird even when you folded them. I returned these along with another pair with the same issues. I hope this isn’t the new style since all 3 of the jeans that I bought recently all have these same issues!

Significant Loss of Shape

Bought this a month ago. Fit perfectly initially, but they stretched out so much and do not hold their shape. Within 15 minutes of wear they're already falling down. They're now nearly a full two sizes too big on me. Customer service has been giving me the runaround on reaching a resolution on this issue since they have been "worn and washed." The problem is, they fit when trying them on and require washing before wear to avoid color transfer. How else would I have learned of this quality issue without actually attempting to wear them out? Extremely disappointed in this quality issue and falsely advertised "holds their shape" product.

Person at the store did not order correct model and ordered these which is exactly what I did Not want. So I had to drive 40 minutes to go back to store to return and I had to place another order online the previous day when I had received them. Also the person in store made a mistake typing in my name and reversed letters, then told me she could not correct in store and I would have to call customer service to resolve. Your stores rarely have size 8 in stock unlike years ago. Not happy with having to take time to call customer service to correct an in store typing mistake and to have to do an extra trip forty minutes each way to return products I never requested in store due to an error.

I think these are the worst style jeggings I have ever tried from American eagle. They run very large. I ordered these in both a 6 and 8 , both are too large. I typically wear an 8. They are designed like they are made for humpty dumpty, the top is very disproportionate to the legs. Both are going back.
