AE77 Premium Low-Rise Flare Jean

I purchased these jeans on sale and with a rewards coupon. There’s no way I’d have purchased them for $128 retail…that being said, overall they are a great pair of jeans. I’m 5’5, 150 lbs and in AE denim w/stretch im normally a 6R. I read the reviews and looked at the sizechart for this particular pair of jeans and ordered a size 10. They fit great. An 8 wouldve been too snug in the waist so I’m happy with the 10. I’m hoping for them to shrink up slightly in the legs after they’re washed & dried but no big deal if they dont. They are slightly long, but worn with my vans platforms they’ll be the perfect length. The distressing is subtle which is nice and they sit more mid rise than low rise which I’m not bothered with. It’s nice to have a 100% cotton denim jean that fits nicely without stretch. :)

WOW!!!! The quality is AMAZING!! I got these because of the similar design as my favorite pair in high school (05-09) they look the same but the quality is PHENOMENAL!!!! The fit, the stitching, the denim: all perfection! I don’t usually review items unless they really are 100/10

These are the first pair of jeans that feel like real jeans,  not stretch.  They fit great, I used to hate wearing jeans, these I could wear everyday so I bought a few pairs.   Wish they had different shades.  Highly recommend

My new favorite pair of jeans. I love the low rise and flared legs. They are the perfect fit, they hold their shape, and wash great. They come in a special knit bag, because they are a higher quality pair of American Eagle jeans. As always with American Eagle, I got a great deal as well. Very happy with my purchase.

I had to buy another pair. I haven't found jeans like these since the early 2000's. That real denim feel. I can't describe the feeling lol. So nice not to have stretch once in a while.

These are perfect! They are soft and have a little stretch. The color of the denim is indigo died and they are are are organic cotton! I am 5’4 109 pounds and the size 0 fit me perfect! They are not huge bellbottoms. They even came with a cute little bag to store them in. Very nice quality! Love!

I’m 5’6 145lbs, athletic build and these are my new favorite jeans! I bought a size 6 and they are the Perfect length, rise and fit.

Finally real denim returns! These are so awesome and I love the fact that they fit exactly like my jeans from the 90’s. The only problem I have with them is the length, because they are a flare they go down below my foot even with a heeled boot. Oh well I will hem them! But for the price the length option would really be great. And you all could knock the price down a bit because everyone needs these jeans…..

i was expecting a stiff jean with no stretch. These still have stretch in them, and the material is really heavy. The fit is nice, but long. i ordered the 4 regular and they are a little baggy, but comfy. so Im still on the fence about these. im not in love with them.

So i read all the reviews and for my weight (148) and height (5’4). My take was these jeans run about 2 sizes to small. I usually get a size 8 or 10 in AE. i can fit into a 6 but i dont like things being “snug”. I went back an fourth for a couple weeks. If I was going to pay this much for a pair of pants I want them to fit just right. Anyway I ordered the size 14. This way they would fit over my thighs and hips and still look baggy. Well these pants were way too big and way to long … I Could actually fold them over at the top and they would still be to long. They had to be about 6-7” to long. So i am obviously going to return them but i am afraid if i get the 10 they are still going to be to big and if i get the 8 the waist is going to be too tight. With my luck i will get the wrong size then by the time i figure it out they will be “Out of Stock”. I will probably get both since they are both available now then ill write another review that will be more helpful. They are made very nice, thick , soft jeans and there is a little but if stretch to them. When I 1st ordered I wasnt expecting any stretch. I would like them to look just they do on the model. They are 100% so i am not sure how much they will shrink. My Guess is the 10 will still be a little big but after i wash them they will fit perfect. I cant say anymore about the length….. definently not “Regular” as when you order AE’s Origial Jeans. I will Agree with a few of these reviews about the rise. Being such a tall girl at 5’4, i can pull them all the way up to my belly button and I was still wearing them like slippers. I am looking for a jean that sits on my hips so Whatever size I get ill have to get the length adjusted. The pockets are nice and deep, I love how they “distressed” them. Not to much and not to little. As for the color, i would say they are a little darker color than the picture represents. My final thoughts … everybody has a different size body, curves and where you carry you weight. Unfortunetly i carry my weight up top. I’ll keep you posted.

I love everything about these jeans, they fit amazing, except the waist. i wear an 8 or 10 regularly in AE. Ordered a 10 and cannot even buttom them. Definitely NOT low rise either. Very disappointed. Will be sending back 😢

I love the look of these jeans. They are very flattering and cut perfectly. The reason I gave them three stars is because the sizing is so incredibly off. I typically wear a size 8 in American Eagle jeans. Since having surgery I knew I put on a few pounds so I ordered these and a 10 - I could barely get them up past my hips. I ended up ordering these again in a 12 and a 14. I had to keep the 14. That’s three sizes up from my normal size. Now I realize it’s just a number, but companies do this. It really messes with your head. This is why, and how younger girls develop EDs. I’m smart enough to know that my body didn’t change, the jeans did. But it still really messes with your head

I love the way they fit. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is the distressed parts of denim are more like odd holes as if an animal nibbled on them.

These jeans are great if you are 5’6” or shorter, however if you are any taller, they are going to be too short if you wear them with anything other than flat shoes. The inseam is only 32”. They really need to make these in a long length for the taller girls because the rise & butt & everything else about them is great. Inseam just sucks for anyone on the taller side.
