I only buy AE jeans because they’re the only ones that fit my proportions. You can go down one size in these! I bought the long ones but honestly could use the x-long, so if you do size down and have longer legs I’d say get them longer.

I tried on a 2 regular in the store and felt that they ran a little big. I’m usually between a 2-4. Thinking the pair in the store was a fluke, I ordered a 2xlong and they are still more roomy than I would like. These jeans are very stretchy. Size down, especially if you’re between sizes.

I love these jeans, very flattering. I’m 5’7” and weigh 135 and ordered the 2 xlong to wear with wedges. They’re stretchy and run big so you could size down. I could probably fit in a size 0.

I would recommend sizing down in these. I normally wear a 2-4 x-short or short inseam. I tried these in a 4 and 2 x-short and short. I ended up going with the 2 short, but because these run large and they are so stretchy I could have easily worn a 0. I thought the x-short inseam was too short for this style, it hit at ankle bone/top of my foot. These jeans are extremly stretchy and comfortable and look slimming and flattering. They are quickly becoming my new favorites. Im in my 30s and the flares give me all the nostalgia and remind me of the jeans I wore in high achool, but without the lowrise love handles and booty crack hanging out hahaha
