I’ll preface by saying that I concur with another review that it does look slightly costumey, but I actually don’t mind it. It’s very comfortable, fits well, hugs me where I’m cute and hides where I’m not. Plus pockets!! I’m 4’11” and the small comes to just above the tops of my feet.

Very comfortable and LOVE that it has pockets! The skirt does wrinkle easy, definitely need to iron. I did also have to take up the straps a bit but I have a short torso so this isn’t abnormal for me.

Looks too Costumey

I ordered XS (5’3” 120lb athletic) and the fit was great. It’s a black maxi so in theory it should be easy and versatile to style. But overall the dress looked too much like a Halloween costume. A witch’s costume, maybe? I wanted more of a casual, everyday vibe, but depending on what you’re looking for this could be a great dress.

the skirt fabric is very rough, stiff and with 2 layers on skirt with super thin stretchy bust fabric just felt like it was lacking balance with the combo of fabrics

Another review said it looks like a witch costume and unfortunately that is so true. I usually look great in A line style but this made me look huge as the bottom part of the dress is really billowy/doesn't hang right. Not a simple black maxi to style like I pictured, however this would literally be the perfect dress for a Halloween costume.

The dress feels so cheap, and the top is a different color than the bottom. Also, the model in the pictures is shown with the dress going all the way to her ankles at 5’7 and I am the same height, it only went down to my calves. I could have gotten this same dress on Shein for $14 and you could not tell the difference. So disappoined especially for $60.

this dress is nothing like the original drop waist dress i got from AE. the band on this dress is rubber and uncomfortable and the underlay of the dress is a horrible synthetic material. i am soooo disappointed.
