Smelled

ordered online. It smelled of a strong chemical smell when I opened the packaging. I am not even sure the smell will go away after washing it and don’t want to take a chance of it not being able to be returned if the smell doesn’t come out, I will be returning ASAP.

weird fit and fabric

fit was ok but if you have a bigger chest, skip this one. the hem of the wiast pulls up anytime i tried reaching for items, generally didnt look cute. strangest fabric, i was expecting cotton, its more of a scuba material

Horrible Customer Service!

This review is not for this item, but for the customer service provided when purchasing this item. I purchased this for 25% off and the next day the item went on sale for 30% off. I called customer support for a price adjustment and they refused. They wouldn’t cancel my order and instead said I would have to make a second purchase of my order and then return my original order.
The manager of customer service, Antoine, said he would not make an exception and was willing to lose me as customer over this.
The lack of friendliness and empathy was astounding, both representatives I spoke with were very cold and robotic. I did not feel like they were there to “serve” the customer. atically felt like they were on the defense and Customer service has gone down hill at AE. I encourage you to think twice before making a purchase!

Just bad

This has to be one of the worst garments that I’ve ever recieved from AE or aerie. It’s see through. The top portion of the dress is double lined but the bottom part is just one layer and it’s very sheer. The fit is just bad. The size is fine but it doesn’t seem like it was made with actual women in mind. The seam hits in the middle of my boobs and when I tried to pull it down to be below them (where an empire waist should hit) half of my bra was showing. There was also extra fabric at the armpits. The tag on the dress and the website description both claim that it is made of 100% cotton but it doesn’t feel like cotton at all. It feels like a polyester blend. DO NOT BUY unless you have tiny boobs and only plan to wear it as a bathing suit cover up.
