Dr. Martens Women's Jadon III Pisa Leather Platform Boot

I’m obsessed with these boots. They run a bit large. I typically wear a 9 1/2 and read they run large. I ordered from Dr Marten insoles and they’re perfect!!

Okay so I actually already reviewed these, but that was before I figured them out. I’m an 8.5 and ordered both 8 and 9. When I first put on the 8s I thought they were way too small and terribly uncomfortable. However, the 9s were just way too loose and my heel slipped. The solution: keep the smaller size and get thin insoles. I thought this would crowd my foot too much, but it surprisingly didn’t. The leather seems to warm up and feel less tight once you walk around in them for a bit. It also makes a massive difference is how comfortable they are. I do have to wear thin socks and I can’t imagine wearing them all day yet. I say “yet” because docs are known for needing break-in time. I scoured the internet for guidance because I really wanted these to work and from what I gather, you want them to be snug. You will need to wear them around for short periods of time until they’re broken in, but they will eventually conform to the shape of your foot and last you for years. The leather is beautiful. The platform makes me feel awesome. I still hate the yellow stitching, but I’m hoping it’ll fade over time. This is an investment piece. Took a star off because they reeeally need to offer half sizes. Come on Doc Marten!
