These are the most comfortable jeans I own. They are soft and look great. They do run big. I am normally a 4 in AE and had to size down to a 2. But them! They are worth it!

5’1, 30 inch waist, size 26/27 pants. I just got these in the mail and tried them on and oh wow, they are so soft! In wide leg/baggy jeans I’m usually a 2 and in straighter cuts I’m usually a 4. The 2 fit great; a smidge roomy in the waist but the customizeable button snaps fix that (nice touch American Eagle 😉). The extra short length falls just right and did I mention they are extremely soft which I have been looking for for a long time. I got the light color wash with the frayed kind of bottoms. I am 5’7 150lbs bottom heavy and got a 4. I am normally a 6 but the 4 fit perfect. These jeans are so comfortable it feels like I’m wearing pajamas! This is your sign to get them!

These jeans are incredibly soft, they have a lot of stretch and because of that, I had to size down (8s). You really cannot go wrong with any AE jeans but this style is very flattering and the fit is unmatched.

score for the tall curvy gals! i’m 5’8 and 225ish and sometimes getting a 14 makes me nervous bc the waist can sometimes be too small so that the jeans end up being standing jeans but these are perfect. I got a 14 long and the strings on the bottom drag a little but im not sure if i’d get a regular though. highly recommend/very comfy!

I am glad I listened to the reviews and ordered a size down, doing that they fit perfect! The new wide leg trend I have found difficult for my outfit to not look frumpy. These jeans when sizing down, fit my waist perfectly, are tight in the bum then flare out right after and these aren't super wide either. So a little bit more control on the frumpy issue. I absolutely love the snap/strap details on the back/around hips. I have never seen this in a jean and it is super cute! I have not yet worn them for an extended period of time to know if the snaps will hold the straps with during wear during the day. Great closet staple, light weight/light colored jean so perfect for the warmer months!

These are my nee favorite jeans ! They’re so comfortable and soft. I also like the tabs on the side that allow you to cinch in the waist a little. I bought my normal size (18 long) and they’re perfectly baggy.

They DO run big

Finally... they arrived.
I'm 5'5" 225, starting to get a little thick in the middle.
Over 50 is not good for the hourglass shape. Lol
Thought I'd give them a try.
Got the 20 short since I have slightly shorter legs and never wear heals.
They're kinda big. Lol luckily I can move the snaps to make them tighter after wearing them an hour they will probably fall off.
Love the soft fabric too.
In the short they are now of a boyfriend fit. (To the bellybutton)

So glad I took a chance on these jeans!!! They fit amazing! I’m 6’0, 36 inch inseam and the xlong works perfect! I’m usually a size 12xlong but I got these in a 14xlong. I got the style/color ‘Light Vintage.’ I’m thinking most of these reviews about them being too long or oversized in the waist must be for the other style/colors.

Just ordered. I agree with the reviews, you should size up. I am 5’5” 115lbs usually wear a 00 long. I ordered a 0 reg length based on other reviews and the length is still pretty long and there is some room in the waist. Material is soft and comfy! The waist is not as high as I thought it would be.

The dreamy drape are the best cut of pants I've worn in years and the light pair in particular here are absolutely aces. Super soft, super stretchy, suuuuuuper flattering for all body types. That said: I'm 5'9" with a 34" inseam, so I ordered them in my usual Long. Big mistake! The length wraps completely around my feet, dragging on the floor by several inches and threatening to trip me when I walk, so I'll be swapping for some regular length ones. Otherwise, these are flawless and I cannot recommend them enough.

PERFECTION IF YOU GET THE RIGHT SIZE

I did NOT have high hopes for these jeans. In fact, I was ALMOST sure I would be sending these back. BOY WAS I WRONG! They are such a cute casual wide leg jean and the light wash is perfect for spring and summer. I'm 5'3" 120 lbs. and I usually wear a size 6 in most brands. I ordered these in a 4 x-short and they're perfect. Not too big in the waistband at all. The length just hits the floor with my Oofos or sneakers on. Also love the snaps on the waistband for a slightly tighter fit.

I'm 5' 1" and got the x-short. I think the length is perfect! With sneakers, the are just above the ground. I LOVE the fit around my waist. (I'm around 135 pounds). They're so flattering. Not too baggy and SO comfy. I can wear them all day running errands and I barely notice I'm wearing jeans.
