Tomgirl Midi Short

These are the first pair of AE shorts that I've LOVED! I've got some healthy curves which makes my hips/butt area a little bigger than my thighs and waist, and the Tomgirl shorts are PERFECT for me. They're not too snug, not too big, and fit along my waistline like a glove without being too tight on my hips/butt, which is a super common issue for me. The rise is just right, it's at a comfortable height so it covers my rear when I bend over but not an awkward high waist. Length-wise, I love that they're long/modest enough to not show my butt and not too long.

Love these shorts. I haven’t bought jean shorts in years because they are always too short. These are a great length and fit.

This was weird. I ordered other tomgirl shorts from here and they were fine. These were tight on my thighs and i have absolutely no muscles whatsoever. So if u exercise or have bigger thighs def not for u! My thighs r small so I dont understand why it was tight there. I like the color but sadly these dont fit right. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

This is my first pair of this style. They’re really cute and I love the wash! They are a little tight around the thighs so I probably should’ve gone up a size. Otherwise I love these shorts!

Got these about a week and a half ago and have worn the 2 times since and I love them! They are a good length and cover your whole butt which was good!

I’m 5’9”, 155lbs, and typically a size 8. These fit super small, flatten my butt, hug my thighs wayyyy too tight, and won’t even button. Definitely for someone who is a slim fit. I gave these a 3 star rating, however, because they are great material and are made really well.

I always wear a six from AE. Received these shorts and couldn't even button them. Cute length and color, returning for a larger size.

I ordered my normal pants size in these & honestly couldn’t get them over my butt! They had absolutely NO stretch! I will be returning these sadly!

They were way longer than expected. Also we’re very big in the Waist.

Maybe it was the “Tom girl” fit but it fit much different than the normal midi. Returned.

These shorts ran very small. I normally order a 10 for all my shorts and jeans. Was disappointed that these ran so small.

These have to be the worst pair of shorts I’ve ever purchased from AE. The cut is NOT the same as in the photos advertising. They are cut like high-waist shorts. The tag says “sits low on hip” and they came to my belly button, more than 2” above my hips. A very sore disappointment.

These fit me so weirdly! They're tight at the top and bottom but really loose everywhere else so they balloon out at my crotch and booty. Almost looks like I'm wearing a diaper or something, super unflattering. I'm thinking this fit just isn't for me since I ordered two other pairs of shorts that aren't Tomgirl and they're perfect. Also, these seem to fit some girls well based on the reviews. I'm not sure what it is about my body type that makes them weird though... For reference, I'm 5'4", 115lbs, my waist measures 27.5" and around my booty is 36". Perhaps I don't have enough "junk in the trunk" for these?? LOL (I ordered size 2)

These shorts have zero stretch to them. I was quite excited to have them and especially for the sale price but I couldn't even get them buttoned! I have a big butt and it smashed it. Just horrible all the way around, will be returning #AEReviewSweepsEntry
