AE Baggy Denim Short Overall

These are cute, but I would recommend sizing down just one size. I usually wear an XL and all the reviews said to size down because they’re too big/baggy. I went down 2 sizes and it fit a little snug.

I typically wear size 8-10 in AE jeans & shorts, mostly size medium items. I am 5 foot 6, typically 145 lbs. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and ordered this in a large originally, as I thought with my bump and extra 15 pounds I’d be up a size. The large was HUGE! I reordered in a Medium and it fits me a little bigger than snug at 20 weeks pregnant, 162 llbs, all the side buttons buttoned. I am keeping the large for when I get really huge but I’m thinking the medium is going to fit me for most of my pregnancy. It’s a cute, quality piece. Just know it fits pretty big!

It is so so cute! I sized down one and it fits great! Only thing is I wish it was a bit more fitting around the waist but a belt can fix that!

it wasnt flattering. it was flattening….which isnt the trailride look that im going for! returning.

I know they are labeled as “loose” fitting. If you are a tall, curvier lady like myself, these may make you look suuuuuper wide in your hip region. And it makes your booty dissapear. you could add a belt to sinch the waist.

Not my cup of tea but I bet it would look great on someone else. It was worth a try.

I would do your nomral size. I sized down and it didnt fit oversized going to exchanged for my normal because im looking for that oversized look.

Ordered size L (usually a 12/14 top and 8/10 bottom - 5'2) and it was super gappy on the waist and almost hit my knees. They're cute, not for short hourglass shapes. Might try sizing down in store.

I usually wear a 4. These were huge in a small. I fear that if I got a size smaller, it would just be puffy in the stomach and tighter in the legs. I’d say size down 1-2 sizes.

I’d like to rate and review these, but I was sent a random pair of jeans instead of the overalls I actually ordered. So instead of wearing the thing I ordered… I had to return the random jeans and am still waiting on a refund a week later. I understand that it takes some time but this is just so inconvenient and irritating. And then when I AM able to reorder the overalls I originally requested, it will be over a month from the original order date. Also they do not sell them at the American Eagle near me.

i wear a size 12 in regular jeans, these were extremely too big/too baggy. I could fit both legs in one pant leg.
