AE Stretch High-Waisted Trouser Short

Great fit.

The fabric is of very good quality, soft and pretty. The design is also very nice, except that on the back it looks a bit strange or I don't know if it's my impression.

I love these shorts. The pockets are large and the shorts are comfy. They are quite oversized though. I went one size smaller than usual due to another review, and I probably should’ve gone down two sizes.

not too sure about the reviews that state these fit large… They really don’t. The waistband is true to size. What I found to be very oversized was the bottom, it flares out about 2 inches from the hem, and just creates a really weird look. I’m going to take them to a seamstress and see if they can take the steam in to straighten it out a little bit, otherwise they are going back unfortunately. for reference, I’m 5’8” and wear size 4 in almost every American Eagle jean. I bought these in size 4 and the waist is fine 

these are very cute and comfortable, i didnt realize how over sized they were. im usually a 6 and bought a 4 and had to return those for a 2 and theyre still a tad big.

These are really cute shorts, the material is heavier as one might expect for “trousers” and they are long enough to be work appropriate. Single drawback is - like almost all AE bottoms now - they run BIG. I am a 16 in most brands, a 14 in most AE stuff and I would need a 12, maybe even a 10, for these to fit right. Why is AE so intent on “vanity sizing”? Please make it stop 😂

i’m typically a size 4 and have always had to size down in the stretch styles, but this is ridiculous and badly cut. i hiked them up in the photo but they sit easily below the belly button. the crotch is just strange. my main issue though are the leg holes because what? why can i fit my entire body in one leg hole? they’re clownish, like someone took a pattern for a circle skirt and cut it into shorts. super disappointed and will be returning this grey pair as well as the black pair i picked up.
