I have found that I need a 000 in tomgirls, and these run true to tomgirl size but are bigger than jegging styles. I normally wear a 0 in jeggings for reference and I would advise to consider sizing down and trying more than one size because the tomgirls can look bad when they are too big. They are nice and soft, thin denim. I like that they aren't thick I'm just a little worried the distressing won't hold up, they feel like a pair of shorts I could snag the hole on something and they would be ripped out immediately. I do find that this uncuffed pair slides upward a bit as I sit. Overall though these are very cute and comfortable and I like the style.

The perfect distressed shorts

I love these because they fit just as I wanted them to, and because the cut is flattering and shapely. I ordered a second pair because I love to embellish jeans, and I can't stop getting compliments from people who want to know where I got them and how I put the patches on. Pretty sure I'll need a third pair just to show the threads without patches. They're my "go to" shorts every day, so I launder them a lot and they still look great!

These shorts have a great look, but the fit is large and wide. I ordered my usual size 4 and they were huge everywhere. I will exchange for a size 2, but the butt and legs may just be cut too wide.

These are such awful shorts. The holes were so stretched out they almost hung past my knee cap. The leg area was so stretched out. I was not a fan of these at all.
