size 14 and went with a large. I love how it fits. very 90s and overly baggy like you borrowed it from your dad in high school. looks so good tucked in but i do have to have hair and make up to feel a but more feminine. This shirt is for the millennials lol. seems like good quality, but ive never owned a linen shirt before.
size down if that’s not your bag!

I know that AE tends to skew on the enormous side with their "oversize" fit so I sized down and got a medium (for reference I'm usually an L or XL in tops with other brands). The fit is perfect for me. The linen is a nice weight - I got the white one and it's not see through, although it's a bit more natural/cream coloured than a true white. I've washed the shirt a few times now and it wears really well. Very happy with this shirt and would purchase more colours if it ever goes on sale.

i think this shirt is perfectly oversized for a man. i think ae oversize this year was one size too large true thiugh that americans are fatter but we still like clothes to hug a little. for me even in smaller size was a bag. i gave this shirt to a man who it was even oversized on though im a 130 lb and he is 200 for frame of reference. i was hoping id like this one

I love the AE77 Collection and have purchased several pieces this Spring; however this Boyfriend Button Up Shirt is so oversized. I'm typically a XS or XXS and understand linen is meant to be loose & airy, but this sizing on this shirt is ridiculous.
