i love American Eagle’s jeans, but they wear out pretty quick. Fortunately, they aren’t super expensive. I splurged for the expensive pair because i assumed it meant higher quality. While that kind of seems to be the case in some aspects, they’re not nearly what they should be for the price. I’ve worn these twice. The right leg in the picture has scratch-like marks along the thigh. It had to have happened in the wash but I honestly dont understand how. i hang my pants out to dry just to try to limit the wear and tear. For such an expensive pair of pants I never wouldve imagined this to happen so easily.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Poorly designed - pocket lining bulges in front

I agree with the other reviewer these run small. I'm normally an 8R. I ordered 8R and 10R, and 10R fit perfectly. However, you cannot see in the item photos because the model conveniently has her thumbs in her pockets, but right where her thumbs are, the pocket lining sticks out of the pockets. It's as if they didn't extend the material far enough inside the pocket in order for the structure to not bulge out. I may expect this while sitting in high-waisted jeggings, but it happens while standing as well, so I could not justfiy keeping them. Bummer coz I love the color otherwise!
