Great Until Needing Laundered

First, the website is wrong, you can not machine wash this per its label.
I hand washed this and flat dried, used Woolite, and it is still ruined. The shrinkage is completely unacceptable and it is no longer wearable. I’m also extremely frustrated at how much it has peeled and shed. This is supposed to be a premium product and it is far from it. I would have thought that accompany like American Eagle, who is really trying to expand into higher price points would have done better. Their premium jeans that I bought were amazing, but this sweater was a complete waste of my money and utter disappointment. I cannot recommend this less.

It looks terrible and is a size smaller than it actually is I’m usually a size medium but I couldn’t even fit it over my head.

Falling apart too soon

Soft and warm, I was very happy with this purchase but now after only a few months it is coming apart at the seams.
It has not been in a washing machine, just regular wear.

I dont understand AE! :(

i dont understand these “Premium” sweaters? Was there no product testing first? I ordered SO much of the AE77 line thinking i was paying for high quality. Waited patiently for some to go on sale for the price. Its one of the most horrible feeling sweaters ive tried. And im a true sweater/knit girl! Love the neutral colours but thats it. Another return sadly :(
