AE 5" Ombre Swim Trunk

I was walking around and could not find a good pair of swim trunks at any store in the area. I ended landing at AE to find my perfect pair of swim trunks. The swim trunks I have are stylish and feel really great. As a bonus they have a little liner in the shorts that are much more comfortable than any other pair I have ever worn. 10/10

It’s soft and breathable, holds color and size in salt water and regular high PH water. Was the hit of the spring era can’t wait for more like it!!!!

Le liner à l'intérieur est super confortable, ça fait vraiment la différence versus un simple filet. Je prend la grandeur Large habituellement, mais le maillot était serré au niveau des cuisses et j'ai de bonnes fesses donc j'ai pris XL malgré que ce soit plus lousse à la taille. Sinon, super qualité et le motif est super beau en vrai!

I purchased these for my athletic build 14 year old son, they fit perfectly and he loves the compression shorts underneath.

Got these for my hubby and he looks great in them!! He was hoping to use them as more of an athleasure short but they weren't good for that so swim only from here on!! But still a great quality swim trunk!! And the pattern is great!! 😍🏳️‍🌈 #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I like the color way it really caught my attention. Nice shorts and i like how you can adjust how tight you want it in the waist.

Great quality. But these tend to run bigger than previous years. My son is between a small and medium right now, and the smalls he couldn't pull up all the way and most these mediums fell right off him and were the same width as my husband's larges. We ordered 8 pairs (4 small, 4 medium), and kept 1. The M in "deep navy" color was over an inch smaller in width the other 3 mediums we ordered. Don't know if it's just the pair we got or that color in general. Hoping this helps someone else if they are between sizes. The lining feels great! I suggest if you are between M and L, to go with the M!

I love the colors and design of these swim trunks, but the interior compression lining (like bike shorts) isn't a great idea for swim trunks. They don't really move, especially when wet. And they don't dry as quickly as the exterior either. I definitely prefer the mesh lining for swim trunks. I wouldn't order another with compression lining.
