Went shopping for shorts and came to AE and just in the nicjk of time i found four good pairs and what a good deal it was! And the service was great too!! I definetly reccommend going to buy these shorts and checking out all the other clothes too!!

Nice shorts, weird drawstring

These shorts are made with a very comfy, broken-in feel. I like the color choices and the fit. I'm 6'3" and the 9" is a good fit, still well above my knee. My only complaint is that they have drawstrings on this inside of the waist, and I cannot figure out what they're for when there's also a button and zip fly. Backup? I don't know. I may end up removing those. Otherwise I think these were a solid buy when I got them on sale for less than $20 each.

I have bought three pairs for my husband and they are his favorite shorts. The fit is great and the fabric seems top notch. Airy and light and just a touch of stretch. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the zipper has failed on one pair and he has only had them for a month. So, now I have to send them back for a refund or fix them myself, which is a pain. Other than that these shorts are great.

I couldn't tell if it was black or a very dark navy from the pictures. When I got it, I can confirm it's black. The shorts feel nice and they are roomy. The inner phone pocket on the right pocket is very nice and convenient. I wish there were cargo pockets for my other stuff. #AEReviewSweepsEntry

I usually don't wear linen, but these felt very nice! I love that you have the option of wearing a belt or tightening the draw-strings. I wish they had more colors though, and came with cargo pockets. #AEReviewSweepsEntry
