Ok, just not what I expected

Overall this is a decent flannel, although not what I had expected when I purchased. The look is exactly as depicted. The material around the collar, shoulders, sleeve cuffs and button area is extremely thick when compared to the rest of the shirt. This is common in flannel ls but this is to the extreme. I lump this in to the category of not bad but not what I would have purchased if I'd been in the store

Good flannel shirt, but way too large (not fitted)

I bought this item on sale. The quality of the material was good. As a 182 cm and 135 lbs male, I usually buy medium size from AE, including my 2 AE flannel shirts I already have.
However, this flannel shirt is made way too large... It's not a fit to size product as I usually know from AE products. AE shall be consitent to make life easier for online shoppers. It's disappointing.
I didn't take the chance to reorder another size (small) to avoid other return fees, so I only return it.
Other point to mention is that the textured flannel shirts are less comfortable than the regular AE soft flannel shirts.

i liked the colors of this shirt but did not realize the weave was so heavy. its cut weird too. very long. guess i shouldve followed the adage “buy it nice, or buy it twice.” back to 3sixteen dot com I go.

Disappointing

I bought this for my 16 yr old son . It is great weight for cooler weather and the pattern is a nice plaid. However, after putting this on for the first time, he noticed the right side of the shirt on the chest front is LONGER THAN THE LEFT SIDE!! A$70 button up , one side very noticeably longer than the other !! How does that make it past quality control.? I live over an hour away from the store‼️ Smh.

Sizing is inaccurate

This shirt is way too big considering it says XS on it. I am 5'6" and XS-S normally fits on me. I have another flannel from AE that says S and it fits fine. This one says XS but is at least 1-2 sizes too big. That is too much inconsistency in sizing. They need to fix that.
