AE Everyday Relaxed Oxford Button-Up Shirt

I like the color and style but the fit is off for me. I always get a Medium which I did but it feels like a large. Most recent shirts I've gotten from AE have run large.

I bought two of these shirts. One pink, and one white. I wear a large, and the pink one fits great. Great shirt. However a large in the white is way bigger. After I bought them, it came to my attention that the pink color is a classic fit, while the white shirt is called a relaxed fit. Why is this not made known in the title of the shirt? And why is there the same shirt in different colors, but not all the same fit? Why not have a classic fit and relaxed fit option for all the colors? Doesn’t make sense.
