Super soft - Runs a little large

Good, but not what I thought they were

The good: the material is very soft and the shorts fit pretty well. The not-as-good: the cotton feels almost more like flannel which is a texture I’m not huge on vs. being a smooth cotton. Unfortunately, I missed the fact that these are not the same fabric I’ve bought before. I assumed they were the stretchy modal blend that I absolutely love, which is my mistake, but they are definitely not as comfortable as the modal ones. I really hope American Eagle brings the modal ones back - I would gladly be in different pairs 24/7 if I could!

There is no black in “bold black”

The nomenclature “bold black” is confusing. The color is an annoying shade of grey, with no tangent to black.
